Hello, although I like the new addition I think the ratings should be set to 1-10 or even include .5s, instead of just 1-5. I cant give a 7 or a 9, let alone a 7.5 or 8.5. Mike : )

OK I like the new museum site. Now I have Pachitalk as my Home page that I get to by opening my browser. Am I missing the easy link from here to the new site and back to here when I am done? I seen something on the right that Say's forum and home after I am in the new site but nether is taking me directly annoyware. I don't want to have to go find the new site and go there that get out of it to go to pachitalk. I'm sure its there I just don't see it.

Yes I have to agree with vcg. You think of 1-10. was Bo Derick a 5? Or was she a 10? Then! Not now! The .5 may be to much though.

I agree with 1-10 being the better rating system to give a wider range of opinions.

I also would suggest that the top 10 images be done for pachislo and pachinko separately. With the way it is now, for example if more people vote for pachislos (because of higher volume distribution and more out there), they will dominate the top 10 ratings and skew the perceptions. I don't think it makes sense to treat them the same and combine them. They are different machines and should be kept separate for each of the top 10 categories. IMO.

In the new site the botton that says forum will open another window to the index here, and home takes you to the opening page here with the flash movie.

As to changing the ratings well that is one of the requests we are gonna ignore (I warned ya) ah just kidding, we are checkin on that as we speak, I think 1-5 is what the software sets up, dunno if we can change it, if we can we will.

We will be adding a permanent link here soon. Give us a day or two to catch our breath. We've been up night and day populating that sucker and we're all tired as hell.

As far as a 1 to 10 scale. Eh, I'm not sure I agree with this concept entirely as I really don't think anyone has a real clue what constitutes a 7 vs 5. It's all subjective anyway. If you think of it in the terms of:

1. Poor
2. Mostly poor
3. Average
4. Above Average
5. Excellent

This might help in the concepts. In trying to break it out the same way on a one to ten scale, what titles would you give them?

For our purposes, you either think it's good, bad or indifferent with a couple in between. After that, it's all convoluted anyway.
