Hopper error?

how do I clear a hopper jam? the last time i cleared an error, I turned off machine, turned reset on, powered back up, hit the knob, turned the rest off. it worked but also cleared off the BB I was in the middle of. Here I am in the middle of a bb and the hopper jammed. got it taken care of but don't know how to clear the msg without clearing me bb also....

turn door key to left or hit reset button on door or power supply.

Lucky's suggestion works on every machne I own, except the IGT!

Maybe I'll figure out that one someday.

try the level switch without turning the reset key this is a igt machine.

turned key to the left, nadda. the only things I have is..... volume switch, odds button, 2 switches next to the odds button that I don't know what they do. switch on the power supply to turn off and on. and a reset key on the back wall inside the cabinet.... there are no other switches on the power supply and no other switches on the box that has a key in it to do a major reset.....

press the odds button without turning the reset key.
that should do it.

You shoud have been here pulling your shift and I wouldn't have to get replacements. Paying them double time and a half.

GOOD GRIEF LUCKY!!!!!!!! why didn't ya warn me... I pushed the odds button and 14 tokens came flying out at me. dang that hopper has some power... jesh!!!!!!!!! in all seriousness, thanks alot lucky. got the volume under control. got my machine running again. thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
