Found replacement bulbs for lumina frame

After an exhaustingly long search I found some bulbs at www.lightbulbemporium.com that seem to work well in the lumina frame. The bulb # is 2176 if you do a search on their site you will find two bulbs with that number:
Bulbrite 751365 #2176 $0.48
EiKO 40472EK #2176 $1.00

Here are the specs:
Energy Used: 0.05A
Volts: 24V
Type: T1.75 or T1-3/4
Base: WIRE TERM.


They only difference I could see between them was the EiKO bulbs had a 1,000hr Average Lifetime and the Bulbrite bulbs didn't list its Average Lifetime, so I just ordered the Bulbrite's, but the box I received has EiKO printed on it. I don't know if they screwed up or if they didn't have any of the Bulbrite's, so they gave me the EiKO's.

I did a quick search and could only find them at one other place and that was aiconsol.com for $0.32, but they had a minimum order of $100 and I didn't feel like ordering 313 of them.

You have to take the old bulb out and use the socket, but that is pretty simple. I will upload some photos tomorrow showing how to replace the bulb if I have some free time.

I can't tell the difference between the original and the new ones I put in. And I didn't play very long after I put them in, so I don't know yet if they are prone to burning out, I will post again after I have a chance to play for an extended period of time.

I am not sure if it is the same bulb that is in the victory frame. If someone has both frames it should be easy to compare them.

Here are a couple of pics.

Out of the frame:
The one on the left is the 2176 bulb and the one on the right is what was in the lumina frame. They are about 5mm wide.

In The frame:
The one on top is an original bulb, the one on bottom is the new bulb.

Here's the Victory/Tatsumake frame/cel bulbs. The larger one is for pretty much the whole frame and some cel lighting, the smaller one is for the "payout" light on the Tatsumake. It looks like it's the same size as the Lumina one, but it may be a little dimmer. Not sure that's a big issue. That base is a silicone piece. There are 2 holes in the base that the wires fit through and the whole unit fits over two pins on the machine. All are 24v ac as far as I know.

I use the same type of wire ended miniature lamps for pretty much all of these size lamps in the frames I've worked on. They are the same style as these, but I use the 28v ones (#2187), as I can order these from stock, but the 24v versions are special order only, There's very little difference in light output between the two voltages, but it might be noticable on lamps that are close to each other and light at the same time.

There's quite a few different bases/lamp holders used by the various pachinko manufacturers, but these wire ended lamps can usually be pursuaded to fit.
