Rare bonus Modes you have encountered

I was in my game room and dropped a few tokens in my Neo Planet T. After a few spins, I suddenly encountered a new sound. Instead of the normal chimes for dropping in the tokens, it changed to a clicking noise similar to an adding machine. The audio for a win was a ringer similar to an old electric school bell. I'm guessing the machine was emulating the sounds of earlier versions of the same model (Super Planet T, or the original Planet T).

When I hit the bonus, it played the Christmas music (those of you with Neo Plant T know the tune) but it sounded much different, as if it came from an early machine. The Bonus Round continued this way until it was over, and then the machine returned to its default sound. The El vision display remained the same, but it was really cool to hear soinds as if you were playing an old machine.

I've owned this machine for years and have never seen it do this. Kind of a nice surprise. I've had a similar experience with my Charlie's Angels machine. In the six years I've had it, it has entered the "F mode" once. For hours it would spit out win after win, with entirely different music and sounds. Cool, but I've never seen it happen since.

Has anyone had a similar experience with a machine?

I know this is a pachislo thread but as I only have pachinko...

I get the most rare modes with the Evangelion pachinkos. Fast music on the first one with a different background. and they all have rare modes where the reels change and you get new music. On Eva 3 I have had 2 rare modes 2 and 3 times each. It's part of the draw that keeps me coming back to play again and again.

I've been playing my Osu! Banchou for over a year now and it always seems to come up with something new to do! Just tonight it started shaking it's shutters in a way I've never seen before, then giving 'tells' to signal certain combinations (blue in the LCD for replays, etc.) and it didn't give the combination it signaled. I grabbed my flip camera and got some video! Finally, after it appeared to be totally whacked out, two of the main characters appeared in an animation and pointed to the viewer and winked, then the machine went into 'high probability mode'! What a great machine! From your post and others (I think I recall reading about 'breaking glass' sound from a Spin Luck) it's clear the pachislo designers programmed some goofy stuff into the machines!

I love my Neo Planet! That El Vision rocks!!! I like that it has a nice volume control as well.

I've seen new stuff on most of my pachinkos and pachislos at one time or another.

the weirdest mode I got while playing my Eva 1, was when the music stopped, and the screen went black, and I could SWEAR I saw myself in the CRT looking confused. Then the game went back to normal, but that was a strange bonus mode (shivers)

Well i own my Galaxy Railways machine for almost a year now and all Ive managed is to get a "normal " Fever:

This isn't about a bonus round or anything, but the strangest thing I've encountered was when my Betty Boop errored out, she appeared on the screen with a tissue in her hand, sobbing and then slumping on the ground in a definitely 50's female overdramatic fashion. Sad, but pretty cool.

I remember that thread.
Was thinkin "Krap! What happened?", then trying to come up with solutions to help, and then you done fixed it all by yerself.
And everyone was so proud of you, that you got made fun of for about a week.
