    Default What's your 'Bucket List'?

List the top 5 things you'd like to see or do before you shuffle off this mortal coil!

    No particular order:

    1. See a live volcano/lava flow. Something very powerful about that for me

    2. Fly a gyro-copter/ultralight. The open air 'motorcycle' of the skies!

    3. Jump out of an airplane - with a parachute of course! Otherwise this list just ended

    4. Visit either the exact geophysical location on the planet opposite from where I was born, or Fiji - 'you can't get any farther away before you start coming back' - Truman

    5. Spend an extended period of time on a deserted island - day/week/month - no one around, no phone - no light - no motor car - not even Mary-anne or Ginger!

    OK, what's your top 5?

Gee, I really can't think of anything.

I've lived my life the way I wanted to live it and while it's not always been a picnic, it's not been bad at all and I've survived the turmoils of my choices so far with relatively few scars to show for them.

Oh sure, I'd like to see the Pyramids, the Parthenon or the Sydney Opera House but in reality, I can miss them too and my life will be just as rich. I could enjoy scuba diving the great barrier reef or playing golf at Pebble Beach but if that never happens, I've scuba dived and thoroughly enjoyed myself and I've played golf at a course called the Institute that is so private there are no members. It's just owned by one guy, he's the only member. Amazing place to be sure. Better than Pebble just without the history.

And you know, I built this place. Even after I've faded into the participation oblivion of the retired architect, it lives on and thrives. I'm quite proud of that little feat and this place.

I think the first thing on my bucket list would be to get a bigger bucket!!! There is so much I want to do before I kick.

No ...no, I am quite sure it was Darth Vader who built this site, not Mark Twain. And I believe he came up with the idea while eating mashed potatoes and watching a movie on his Sony Blu ray player. hmmmmm... maybe it was something like "Close Encounter of the Third Kind" for him.

You're wrong, it was 2004 and mashed potato's hadn't even been invented yet.

Betty Crocker and Hungry Jack were both working on instant versions and they came to market later but as the great mashed potato war ensued it was BC that had the better product, more fluffy, better definition and ultimately more appealing taste. HJ certainly had a product they could market but as a free market society will do, BC was purchased by more and became the defacto standard we all enjoy today.
