Default pachi CON is a GO!

    las vegas, memorial day weekend.

I reserved a suite so we can have meetings and play pachi's

    ttc reserved a room already.

    Imperial Palace.

    https://www.harrahs.com/MakeReservat...kageCode=IISTL

this link had a bit better prices, but they're rising already. mine's gone up $30 a night in one day!

basic room is now about $70, a good deal for that weekend.

location is great. hotel is so-so.

i'm planning for pinball museum, hoover dam, atomic research center, car museum, will take other suggestions.

    wooo whooo! see you there!

as far as I know the atomic research center only gives tours once a month and you need resevations months ahead of time to get cleared by securitys backround check first.

hey there. I'll be getting there thursday night and leaving sunday evening. the plane fares worked out so much cheaper that we got an extra night for the difference. so, if anyone wants to come early, we'll be there with our king suite.

now, I just have to figure out a way to pack a couple pachi's safely... don't suppose they'd let me carry that one on... could I use a hard sided suitcase with really good padding?

here's a link to the atomic museum. it doesn't say anything about clearance being needed. maybe there's base out in the desert that you're thinking about?

I could invite my Das Elvis to come to the party also. He wouldnt mind singing a few songs for fellow pachi's people. He always loved vegas. So now I need to get the Lisa Marie Jet fueled up and ready to go. Elvis and his Memphis Mafia will be attending. I will be escorting Lisa Marie myself. Here's to good times.

    ooohhh. do bring elvis...

    some updates:

i'll have the suite with pachi's setup
i'll supply high speed internet - I have EVDO adapter and wireless hub if you bring your computer

I have a projector for talks or to watch movies.

can someone tell me the easiest way to have a webstream setup, so we can share our talks with pachi folks that couldn't make it?

there's iChat on the mac, but I don't know that it's universal enough.

I think that I have a program called iSee that lets you share slides over the 'net

    any other ideas?

I have a firewire camera and usb mic to use.

    HEY MUDFUD!!

We are going to be in Las Vegas also then! We are already booked downtown but I have been wanting to go to a Pachi Convention for a long time This might work out for us to stop by , but our plans are firm for oldies concerts on Saturday night and Sunday night.
Everytime we go to LV we stop by the Pinball Hall Of Fame and play a few rounds.
Ok so i haven't been very active here for awhile but I still have all my Pachis and have been thinking about dusting them off.Going to a Pachi convention might get me i n tune again!

I'll be watching this thread as this could be fun!

    coool. more people to meet!

I figure that we'll meet during the day, so folks can do shows or the strip at night.

ttc's bringing some machines and he's going to bring a couple for me, too.

    this should be fun.

i'll contact the pinball museum before we get there, and see if we could get a special tour or something.
