Default what do you do if you lose your key?

Nothing's happened to me, but I'm always fearful of locking the cabinet key inside the machine. What do you do when you lose your key, get a machine delivered without a key, or lock the key inside?

reach in through the back or bottom and move one door lever up or down, the other one will move with it.

a lot of us keep them on a flex key chain attached to the back of the machine with an eye screw.

You can pop the latch through the hole in the bottom or the hole in the back, if it is big enough to get your arm through.
Several of my machines use the same door key but all of them have different reset keys.
i don't think losing the door key is as big of a deal as losing the reset key.

I have always had better luck using the bottom hole then the one in the back.
With kids touching everything my keys are always missing.

Bottom hole... humm... Can't access the bottom hole with the overflow box in the way. Might be a good idea to leave it out. It's not the right one anyway - the holes in back don't line up with the full sensor, so if the box is too far back, the machine starts yelling at me in Japanese! Food for thought someday if/when I build a gameroom - I can plan to cut holes in the bottom of the stands to collect the overflow.

you can make a mod that takes a threaded steel rod and a couple of nuts and bolts and a decorative knob. place the knob at the top and set it to pull up the upper catch. Never found a machine it did not work on. I will post pictures of a machine with the mod monday when I get back to the office.

machiens made in the last few years all tend to use the same key... surely someone would have pachinko keys for sale on a auction somewhere...
...i wonder if you took a pachinko key to a key cutter would they cut you a duplicate? hmmmm...
