After seeing this post a few days ago, I put an offer in for $40 and is was declined. I thought ok, I'll move on. A couple days later I see that the price has dropped to $40, so I bought it.

It is an LED sign rather than Neon, which is even better actually.

Here it is installed on my pachinko stand, where it fit perfectly to replace the paper sign that used to be there.
It was very bright at first, but there is a controller on the cord which reduced brightness by 50% so it is good now

So the seller who sold me the sign said she had some nice Pachinko's for sale also. I told her that I was looking for a particular machine...a "No More War 3" to complete the set as I have 1 & 2 already.
Almost couldn't believe it when she said she did have one to sell. But she wants $850 for it and $167 for shipping to Florida....so the search goes on.

She has a couple other very nice machines.... but at the same price. I told her the $50 machine in Pensacola on my watchlist was more my style, to refurbish and fix up to look like her $800 machines.

If the seller is in Texas it is probably the person that Dan Welch restored machines for that is now getting out of the hobby. Dan posted in a Facebook group that the seller had 7 or 8 machines and they were all $850 or something like that. Probably trying to recoup their costs, but would do well to tell people that the machine is "professionally restored" if there is such a thing. Still not many people willing to pay that price even if restored, but you never know.

So she has dropped the prices down to $525 each and the auction on the No More War 3 is ending today with no bids. I am still interested in it if the price drops some more.
The question is what is the right price point? This is the only one I've ever seen in my 3+ years of buying machines, and it is in nice shape.
I'm thinking less than $300, but how likely is it to snagged before it gets to that price?

I just noticed my original post of pricing and shipping showed shipping to Florida as $165....today the listing says shipping to me is now $80.. interesting. Further convincing me that eBay sellers are able to play with the calculations for shipping charges to pad profit.

Pricing is what you deem fair, period.. It needs work (Cig burn in tray and painted parts etc), but still a good machine. IDK about the original shipping, probably an attempt to recoup her losses. Also the seller can adjust shipping costs by increasing weigh or dimensions of the box/packaging. Long ago a few were selling products dirt cheap with outlandish shipping to defraud Ebay their final value fees but alas, they figured that out and now we're paying a % fee on shipping as well. What's next from the wizards at Ebay? Fees to use their site? Stay tuned....

Just had a no more war 3 on FB selling in MS for 80 something maybe a year ago. Bummer.
