I have the Marc Singer Mini Series , T.V. series , and the movie of the week V : The Final Battle all on DVDfrom Amazon.com
And the really Strange part , I didn't know about the new series on ABC before i got them . I wanted them since i was a teenager watching them

I remember back in the 80's getting on the EL to go to High school...there were posters on the platform of two kids with some guy dressed in red and sunglasses standing behind them...the caption on the bottom said something like "They are our Friends." I couldn't figure out the ad, just thought it was odd. a few days later, someone painted a large "V" over it. I thought that was a shame that someone would ruin the poster like that. Little did I know that it was on purpose and that it was advertising the show.

I used to watch the sci-fi chanel but not much these days. I happen to check it out the other day and what was on-V. I thought wow I had not seen that for some time. So they are doing a remake? With a totally new show ?

I like Flash Forward more, but V is good for a Tuesday show!

Managed to watch the first episode of this new 'V' (thanks to my dad)
I'm usually not too keen on watching re-hashed stuff, but myself and my daughter thought this was
quite good actually, and are looking forward to the next episode
