Default Inexpensive Ball Hopper that will hold 3,500 balls! >Video<

I made a short video on a ball hopper that will cost you $3-4 and will hold 3,500 balls and
    takes 10 minutes to install.
The only thing is it will not work with a cabinet. I don't have a ball shutoff with this one... yet.
Many people don't have cabinets and this will work for those people.
I used a Sterilite Container and 3 sheetrock screws.
Note: on some pachinko machines the wood frame is very soft so you will need 2 inch screws
    instead of 1" screws.

almost the same as the cardboard ones I have built for free standing machines. In fact I may do something like this for now in my cab as I am going very slow working on a feed system. as long as I don't have all the machines loaded I could still get inside to clear any issues.

Yeah this is a quick and dirty method of making a hopper but for a free standing machine it's very stable and holds a LOT of balls.
I don't trust cardboard when it comes to heavy stuff like pachinko balls.
All this really does is extend the height of the tray and make it easier to load the balls during a fever.
My wife was spilling too many balls when she loaded up the trays and the funnel I was using.
She's short and this makes it a lot easier for her.
    Can't beat the price either.

The other reason I built this is because we are thinking of getting a ball lifter and this would be ideal for that and the height is just right
compared to the funnel I was using.

How on earth I am going to make a blast gate work with this sort of setup, I have no idea... yet.

cut one corner and put the container on top of the machine.. turning the container 90.. that should give ya the room to attach your blast gate

Thanks, that might work if the shaft of the blast gate doesn't extend too far into the container.
I'll have to play around with it and see.
