Another n00b with a question Boop Pachislo

Hello Pachitalkers!!

Been lurking here for awhile, reading reading reading, and finally bought my first two machines. A Julie pachinko (I've got a bunch of American pinball machines so the theme was perfect!) and a Betty Boop Pachislo.

I'm loving them both, and right off I wanna say thanks for all the great info I got off here before making my purchases.

Just a quick newbie question that I couldnt find an answer to:

Does the pachislo HAVE to be Max credit before it will spin? I cant seem to get the reels to turn with only 1 or 2 credits in, and yet there are "bet 1" and "bet 2" buttons. Just wondering. Thanks!

Betty is a max bet machine, You must use 3 tokens. I hope you enjoy her, I really like mine!

I figured as much. So, I'm assuming the bet1 bet2 buttons are on all Sammy cases regardless of their use?

Or do they actually do something on Betty? (Had her a week now & very much enjoying it. Got her for the little lady, but truth be told, I'm playing waaaaay more than her !)

Many, many machines are like that regardless of the manufacturer. No, sorry...they don't do anything else. Glad you like her

Hey what A merican Pinballs do you have? vintage or new ...i prefer the modern ones. I have Jurassic Park 93 Data East and Ninja Turtles 91 Data East. :biggthump

I also have a Betty Boop Pachislo (Sssshhhhh!!) and yes it is a Max Bet Machine, as are all mine except for the Don Chan - it would appear the older machines allow a 1,2 or 3 Token bet....

I'm afraid I don't pay much attention to the Pachislos since I discovered Pachinko!!

I'm with ya on the more "modern" pins. Love that Jurassic Park table...with the dino that "eats" the ball...great stuff.

My current pinball line up includes: The Simpsons (Data East 90), Rocky & Bullwinkle (DE 93), WhiteWater (Williams 93), Twilight Zone (Bally 93), Attack From Mars (Midway 95), SlugFest-(pitch&bat-Williams 91), & Gridiron(pitch&bat Williams 84)

There's also a MAME box based on a Defender cabinet w/ a 27" tv as a monitor (although Guitar Hero2 is all thats been played on it recently!)

Oh, and I've got a Williams Triple-Strike shuffle bowler (84), and a Midway Flying Saucer rifle game(electro-mechanical from 67), but both of those are in "storage" at my father's house (I ran out of room in my basement).....yeah, I got problems, I know.

And now that this pachi addiciton is brewing I'm gonna need a bigger house even sooner!
