    Default Star Wars trouble

    Hi All,
OK, here is the problem. When the power is turned on, the only light (LED) on the front that comes on is the one under R2D2 which shows "--" and a small red light opposite him on the other side. No other lights on the front of the machine come on. On the back, a row of red LED dots at the bottom of the machine come on and the "number" one comes up. The rest of the machine does not work including the LCD screen and ball launcher. Does anyone know what the problem may be? I cant get this thing to work!!

Is the machine room temp? Star Wars is a cranky machine cold. If it is have you tried a hard reset?

    Hi,
My dongle cracked big time but i still managed to put it in to the slot. Do you think all is not functioning at all because of the cracked dongle? Can anyone confirm that once you remove the dongle, the lcd and ball launcher does not function? I was under the impression, you could still see the screen but you just couldnt play Star Wars. Do you think if I put in a brand new dongle, will the main board signal say its connected?
Thanks for all the words of wisdom. Please keep it coming, I really need to solve this problem.

All the best to you guys

BTW, I made sure my office and machine are nice and warm. No probs about it being cold

In his post he states it says 1 on error.

It must be a poor connection somewhere.

If Arby can't give you the fix then it ain't fixable.
In that case you can just send the machine to me.

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

A cracked dongle. Sounds like trouble to me. Like everyone says, make sure everything is tight and I would look really close at this cracked dongle.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks again. Ya, the number 1 is being displayed and I have a cracked dongle. Arby, you had mentioned to make sure all the connectors are in. How many are there and where are they located? I think a picture of the back of the Star Wars machine is published on the forum, I am just trying to find it and send it to you so you can circle them. Now that I think about it, I think you placed them up Arby--though I cant confirm that.

    Anyhow,

Thanks again and I feel I am almost there!!!

Turns out I went through the same thing. If the number 1 comes up, make sure the pink connector is plugged in on the bottom right cell on the back. That should take the #1 away. As far as the front video goes, there are two red connectors (One a little bigger than the other) that need to be plugged in under a plastic cover on the middle cell. Once these get plugged in, the video on the fron will now come on. Hope that helps.
