Default Star Wars pach newbie question...

    Hi,
I got my Star Wars pachiko today... It's the first time I'll use a pachinko machine... Sorry for this newbie question, but some of the ball are falling in the back of the pachinko :-(
How to set the game (cyclic mode if I understand well ? ) for all the balls to go in the front lower ball tray ?
    Thanks for help

It's not a setting so much as a modification. You need to physically alter the machine so the balls flow back into the front tray. Do a search on the forums for cyclic and you should get some more info.

    Thanks for reply.

But I'm not sure to talk about cyclic mode :

I mean, some balls are falling down in the rear of the game, by a hole. The only way I have is to put a small box. I would prefere the ball goes directly in the lower ball tray... ???
If it's a normal situation, how the definitively fix the pachinko, If i have to empty the box at the rear of the pachinko ?

Dont be to upset this is normal lost balls (those that dont go through any winning pockets) will fall through to the bottom of the machine you will need a collection tray of some sort in there to empty into the winning hopper
you can convert to cyclic witch means the lost balls will come out in the shooter tray the only problem is that you wont recive any payout balls as cyclic is designed to stop you having to fill the reward hopper you will still get the video sequences ect just no payout of balls but your machine should happily run on about 50 balls non stop.
You can go for semi cyclic where the lost balls come to the front of the machine but you will still have to load the payout hopper so you get the payout still

OOppss... my english is too bad :-( Let's show you with a picture

Some balls are falling by the rear of the pachinko, by a normal hole I guess. Do the only way to route the balls in the lower front ball tray is to fix a tube or something ?

    Welcome to the forum

First of all dont worry about your english we have people from all over the world drop in to the forum what language do you speak best there may be some one who could help or translate for you

ok there is three options first is the cyclic modification that will stop the balls going through but as i said that will stop any payout of winning balls aswell

the next is to buy a ball lifter like this one but remember the ball lifter is 110v so you will need a power sorce for it aswell depending on what country you are in

    http://www.slotsdirect.com/balllifterused.html

or finaly leave as it is stop shooting for a couple of seconds and empty the tub from the back in to the shooting tray or top hopper which ever needs it

most of the wall cabinets for sale direct the lost balls to the front and you get them by opening a small door.

Here is a picture of what LuckyDog is referring to. The balls are poured into the funnel on top which directs them to the inner tray on the Pachinko. Then as you play, the balls fall to the bottom and are easily retrieved by holding a bucket under the small door at the bottom. It's a good system. To purchase one, check out The Game Room Cabinet on eBay.

I think you guys might be misunderstanding him. There is a catch on top of the reward hopper that you need to push down so all the balls don't come flowing out of the machine. When you have a win then the machine will spit out reward balls. If that catch is not in place, all balls will drain out of the reward hopper.

    Well... I a bit confused SO here is my simple question;

How to avoid balls fall down by the rear ? :

I undersand well that if I don't want to refill with balls, I have to buy a balls lifter or make a physical modification on the pachinko ( = cyclic mode i guess )

I just want to avoid, if possible & without any physical modification the balls fall down by the rear... Is there some kind of switch somewhere ?

Thanks & sorry If ask such newbie question

No there's no switch. Which is why there are ball lifters and cyclic mods and semi-cyclic mods. Those balls have to go somewhere. Either back to you as a payout or back to the parlor - out the back and down.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

How to change a Parlor Ready to a American Pinball Action™ (Cyclic Usage) for the latest Sankyo frame.

Shows the back cover open and how it looks before any changes.

Shows parts are cut away to hold a hot glued in insert white plastic angle the full length with a foot angled toward the front.

A close up of the foot, that angles the balls back to the front shooters tray thru "X".
That piece is hot glued to the longer angle.

Shows the long white angle from the full back of the machine.

This show the back of the front where the balls go back out to the shooting tray.
