The Batman I received from them did not have a key.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

The major vendors only started giving keys with their machines a few months ago, before that they all said that keys weren't available in the US and you didn't need one anyway, whatever.
It seemed like once Arby started to sell Star Wars with a key on ebay last year, all the other vendor found their keys.

I emailed SlotUSA last week and they said they send 500 balls and a key with each machine.

I emailed them the other day; never got a response. So I called today and the woman who answered the phone sounded surprised that their auction description didn't mention balls or keys. She said she'd check into it.

I think it will go down in Pachi History . . . .

The name arbycoffee will correlative to the Pachinko Key.
    We went from . . .
We can't get them at all - to a key with every machine no charge

    Very funny thing

Like Slotter, I got my cabinet for my Batman from The Gameroom Cabinet on eBay. The wall cabinet is well put together, but I did have to make some modifications. The funnel on top left a gap between the top of the cabinet and the machine inside, which let a few balls roll out to the floor. I solved the problem by using half a toilet paper tube fastened inside the bottom of the funnel and extending to the top of the machine. I also had to drill a hole in the bottom of the cabinet for the electric cord to come out, and then fastened a piece of cardboard with a slit for the cord on the inside bottom of the cabinet to prevent the balls from coming out of the hole. Lastly, I used rubberized shelf liner in the funnel and on the bottom of the cabinet to lessen the noise of the balls being poured into the funnel, or dropping to the bottom of the cabinet.
Sorry about the long post, but I hope it helps.
P.S. I just noticed that Slot-Pachinko.com has started selling cabinets also, of slightly different design for about $80.00 plus $30.00 shipping. You may want to check it out at this link: http://www.slot-pachinko.com/2004PACHINKO.HTM

Yes, Curt is the master of hyperbole, although Slot USA runs a close second.

Did you drill starter holes through the bottom of the plaques then attach them to the bottom of the pachinko cabinet with long wood screws?

Yes starter and contersunk holes almost the size of the screw in plaques.

Also starter holes in bottom of pachinko. I layed it on its side.

With the wood that is used in the frames, alway pre-drill, it will crack way to easy like peanut brittle my wife makes.

    Very bad

I don't mount mine in cabinets, I prefer them as table top units. They move easier that way and I don't end up with a bunch of holes in my wall. So not having a key is not that big of a deal as you can always open it by reaching around and pressing down on the latch.

So I did nothing. It has no key. Of course Arby sent me a key that will work in either the batman or the thunderzone so it's all good.

I like chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, 9 layers with chocolate fudge between.
After eating a piece, I go into a sugar inducet sleep for a week. So very small pieces, no bigger than half the cake.
