Default How to edit or change how the forum looks

Is has been so long since I set up what I chose for the forum look that I can't remember how to change it. I looked in the user cp and if it is there I didn't see it. I am having problems with my monitor color and what to see if it does something different in another color format. Any help? I know it's right under my nose?

Laz the colors are what they are, you can't change them. I'm not sure what you're seeing or referencing but if you could be a bit more specific I'm sure we can get you where you want to be.

Laz was around when we first started, remember the first software had two color choices, one dark, one light.

It used to be you could pick between the old way color theme and this grey and burgundy. NOT that I want them puke colors! I just wanted to test something. I am getting a darker band about two inches wide across the whole screen about in the center going horizontally. I can see it real good when I scroll up and down. It is the worst when there is dark colors on the screen like the board. When I scroll down to the bottom there is more white and it almost disappears. If I go to a web site that has a lot of white I don't see it at all. My monitor is set at the highest brightness and contrast it will go. My old monitor just got dark over the entire screen to the point I could barely see when the screen was showing dark colors. This monitor is not that old. Say three years. It is starting to make it a pain to view the forum, hard on my eyes!

It's been almost a year since we had that software though?

Laz it must be your monitor as I have this site running on a PC with an LCD screen and a Mac with an LCD screen, neither one has this band of dark your referring to.

If this is your second monitor, I would suggest maybe a new video card. Monitors should last more than 3 years. We have monitors in school that are upwards around 7-8 years old.

Yes I figured it was my monitor. I just thought we still had a way to modify the colors that I seen on my end. I thought if I could make it lighter the dark band would not be so distracting.

Laz you might try another monitor but it sure sounds like your video card that is causing this problem for you
