Here in LA the little carts in the Mall run about $500 per month. Some malls charge a % of the gross as well. Another option would be to try a consignment mall, they take a percentage and charge a monthly rent but it would probably be less than a full blown store of your own and you could test the waters.

thanks for all of the info guys i have found that no solid buiness is built in a day. I have relized that i must do it on a larger scale to make any fourm of profit so in conclusion i may shy away from the idea. Im in it to make money not to invest even more into my hobby. I have nothing to worry about right now i breed fish and sell them wholesale to pet stores I already made 100$ (alot of $ for an unemployed 14yr old) I also buy paintballs (4 the sport) at wholesale and sell them to kids at my school and just over hurrican wilma I sold candy around my block and made 50$ profit in a few hours. So for my age i have little to worry about financhely. As for my future I have alot of buiness ideas on the backburners.

thanks for all of the info

If I were 14teen again, I vow not to use my baseball cards for spoke noise makers, I will not blow up my lead soldgers with Ladies fingers fire crakers, I promise to put up my used (but in very fine shape) Whizzer bike for my old age, oh so many things I would do differently.

Several years ago, I had some large ziploc bags full of 1980's GI Joe's and Transformers I sold on ebay for hundreds of dollars. Many just parts and pieces.

I almost through them all out when my dad gave them to me.

Still have a box of comics and baseball cards I will eventually go through and sell.

Now there is an idea marine..... Try a flea market, get your name out there put some bussiness cards on your table by your machines and if parents don't mind, see about possibly selling mostly out of your garage. Thats what davis does. he started out slow, but soon as word got around his small bussiness took off. although he does it for fun. He still has his day job. Plus by selling out of the garage, don't have to worry about rent or paying a percentage out of your sale. Maybe offer to keep the garage cleaned up or the yard, in return for use of the garage. If I was your age, thats what I would be doing.

*spaces out* boy oh boy, a 25x40 ft garage. hmmmm how many pachis could I fit in there?????

Earth calling dingle berry, your married and live on your own, why ya thinkin about pachis and parents garage????

If I was 14 again, it would be 1973, Watergate ruined summertime tv, roe vs wade was just voted on by the supreme court, the vietnam war, peace agreement was signed and the arabs just doubled the cost of oil.

You know, I don't think I want to be 14 again.

If I were 14 again, it would be 1960. We had very little crime, kids could ride their bicycles and walk anywhere they wanted even at night. There was freedom and optimism most everywhere. The economy was good and citizens were very proud of their country. People actually had TWO cars and two car garages. Life was good. Heck, I'd be 14 again.

Oh to be able to relive the Carefree days of Youth.

before the Cynical dark specter of responsibility(dont take it the wrong way) rears its ugly head.
the youthful summers with friends where your only care was to be home by dinner or dark.

No worrying about this months bills or the mortgage payments, or if your loan is at the correct interest rate and if you should start investing in that retirement plan etc etc...

    14 in a minute.....

but since it aint gonna happen

    Sigh

back to worrying about all of the above and remenisce about the way things were once.

And now...back to our regularly scheduled thread...already in progress...
Does the $60 base figure, not including refurbishing costs, factor in shipping costs from Japan for the machine?
