Default My auction was booted from Ebay

Well, today was a first (for me)

I had 6 near raw pachis up on Ebay this week (transformers installed when needed), and with 1 day left, Ebay pulled the auction for 'violations'.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Now, I'm no fool, chances are that another 'seller' reported me to Ebay because they didnt like the competition, Ebay generally does not enforce such things in such a manner.

Hopefully it will get resolved soon.

Actually, not a whole lot. Machine descriptions, shipping details, the usual. I did not include a bunch of disclaimers and legal statements. Clearly I should have.

I would assume the lack of legal disclaimers is why it was booted, and I'm guessing you're also correct that a competitor was who brought it to their attention.

It's a sad world we live in when something like this can happen on Ebay.
Let us know when you put them back on Ebay, or PM me.

    Cheers

I have sold 400+ items and the only one pulled was my Dracula pinball machine. Reason? 'cas I asked for extra 3% if paid with paypal. I must have been reported by somebody as it ended with about 3 hours to go (with 25+ watchers ). Immediately after mine was due to end, ANOTHER drac pin appeared. Co-incidence - methinks not...

About 6 months ago ebay was pulling a bunch of Pachi's off. I would just make sure you have the legal mumbo jumbo since some people see these as questionable in the gambling world.

Generally ebay only ends them when someone complains, mainly because they want the fees. However even if someone complains they need to have you in violation of one of their rules, so try and follow the rules about disclaimers to avoid getting the auctions ended.

Ebay responded! It appears that if I put up the proper disclaimers, I should be fine.

you are safer putting this disclamer at the top of your auction discription in red or green and larger writing than the discription with the words To ebay staff added to the front
it dosent anoy them it makes checking the auction more easyer when it is reported and makes there life easyer also anyone who reports it will get burnt as it was so obviouse to see they cant claim they didnt see it
otherwise its spot on to what we would use in the uk
My rice krispies told me to do it

please note pachitalk.com cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death that occur as a results of anything strange people like me suggest you do

I believe a key buzz phrase that ebay looks for on pachis is: "TOKEN IN/TOKEN OUT & CANNOT BE READILY CONVERTED TO USE COINS."

    Hi All,

My ad also got pulled tonight from eBay for the same "violation of their policy". It was an Austin Powers machine with 4 days left in the bid and the reserve was met. This was new to me and I'm very sure they did it on a complaint from someone (likely another vendor). Anyhow, in future all our ads will be listed with their policy "Tokens Only - No Legal Tender Coins Accepted by this machine, etc. etc." I find the timing on this rather odd that a few vendors would be "targets" for these complaints.

I'd be interested to here if this happens on a regular basis and why some vendors who don't list this disclaimer, still have their ads on eBay running. Makes you wonder... hmmm....

If you want to see exactly what to put, just go to any auction where the seller is demos777 (that's Milt, from Stealth Home Amusements). He's a total pro when it comes to selling on ebay, and his ads never get pulled.

what aggravates me is some cheap pachis and their disclaimer is for reg. slot machines. "I will not sell to indiana".....
