    Default What do these do?

Does anyone have any idea what these are for? I have a couple sets of them in my machine... some are plugged in, others not.

Actually I believe the answer we came up with a long time ago, is that they put them in to confuse us into thinking they are important.
Actually the little plastic pieces plug the holes in the metal box, that is about it.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

As I understand it, that little array of plugs is there to document the number of time the parlor has had to access the board behind the panel. Presumably, there are components behind the panel that would allow the parlor to modify the machine in a manner that breaks the law. Everytime the seal is broken, the tab is cut and the next tab is inserted. There is also probably a log sticker in the machine so the technician can record the date time, reason for breaking the seal.

Most of my machines are on their 1st tab, but some have the 1st tab cut and the second tab inserted, with an entry in the log decal.

Oh sure, I liked my idea better. We had this discussion on the old way and I think someone might have mentioned that also.

    Off the sperm topic...

Can you post a picture of what those plastic things plug into, exactly? On first glance, I would almost think they are dust guards.

They are a security device, like the void warrenty tape you see on things you shouldn't open. Nomally only one is connected and a service tech has to cut it to work on the machine, he then plugs the next one in and makes note that one was cut. That's how they can know if someone else has been tampering with the machine.

    or.....................

Is he the leader coz he's jet propelled? Notice the rest have squiggles and he just has a straight line? Woosh, super sperm! I feel sorry for the one at the bottom, he seems a bit smaller than the rest.
