I asked the seller about shipping and he said he was going to take it to the local UPS store and let them pack it. I'm not going to count on a UPS store packing job to get a $500+ pachislo from FL to AZ. People who ship machines for a living lose a lot of machines to shipping damage. I'm not sure the local UPS store can do a better job of packing.

Before you win, not after. Good news is that you win a Spin Luck. Bad news is that it comes in assorted peices. Hopefully there is a member in Florida who can pick it up. Why can I see the seller dropping off the machine and the guy behind the counter saying "Don't worry we will pack it later". It would not suprise me though even if UPS packed the machine and insured it, they would still find some way of getting out of the insurance claim when the machine gets damaged. Just hope that we don't end up with one less spin luck out there.

I had a guy charge 10.00 for UPS professional packing, some records i won, they threw them in a big box with air bags.
it was the worst job i have ever seen. a flat square box would have been the smart way to go.

Sounds like a Spin Luck parts machine is about to become aviliable. Guess I could always stock up on a few parts. Sad way for it to happen though!

The seller did say in his reply, that he'd be glad to insure the package, but like you've noted above, that's not enough to give me a warm fuzzy feeling. I do hope someone local buys it, or at least within a few states. I've found the likelyhood of damage increases with distance

He did say that he bought it at PP, and it didn't sound like he had any original packing material. Maybe he's local to them, and they'll buy it back?

1 bid and now he or she's the owner for $499.00. Hope it works out well. Hopefully he or she will make there way here to pachitalk. Almost wish we could keep track of the machine and what ups does with it.

Curiously, right after posting some info in this thread that might have led a fellow Pachitalk member to believe that I might be willing to drop 5 bills on a Spin Luck, I got a phone call from my favorite local Pachitalk member. You'll never guess what he had to offer me! Maybe a Spin-Luck for 5 bills? Needless to say it took me all of 30 minutes to get my car to his house and delicately load my new Spin-Luck into the back of my car! I've been enjoying Spin-Luck number 1746 for a few hours now. Very nice machine!!

It is so much better going to pick it up your self, just be warned, this machine makes you work for your bonuses. Just wish I only had a 1/2 hour to pick up mine, but it was still worth it!!

When I searched for recent sales I searched for Spin Luck and this seller listed it as Spinluck (all one word), so it didn't even come up when I searched. I thought none had even been listed in the last 30 days.

That's the thing with ebay, sometimes people don't list things the way they should. It's also one of the ways you can get things real cheap. When looking you might want to search using some of the following to get good coverage:

anyway I hope you get the idea, you also have to go into the sellers stores. sometimes the stuff in the stores does'nt make it on ebay (who knows why). Ebay also has a favourite section where they will e-mail you everyday with new items for auction. Lately though, spin lucks have been for sale through Pachitalk (from members to members) so keep your eye open here too.
