Or if you won't use it much maybe it might be alright but mine gets a lot of use. But maybe I worry to much but it is a expensive investment.

Hmm...I think they are made to be installed in cabinets. They are certainly in some type of cabinet when they are in the parlor.

I be like you I worry to much about over heat, it is a killer of all good toys. I don't care for wall mounts. Unless you are going to do a fan some way.

Yes,they are open in the back at the casino so I always thought there is a reason for it. Burn out a board good luck fixing it. If you had a fan in the back that might very well be a good idea.

The machines in my cabinets never get warm, let alone even close to being hot. The transformer might be warm, but nothing else heats up. Leave a hole (the one for access to the lock) in the side like the GameRoom cabinets have for ventilation and you shouldn't have to worry about heat.

So if you can't get a fan fitted, take Arbey's advice and build an igloo.

Yep, I do think we are a bit colder than where you are, Arby... But, we've sure been having a mild January this year and I'm not complaining.

Yes, it would have been in bad taste to be bare aszed at that early in the night.

Ok just sitting back and waiting for it now, after reading the pdf that arby and dritz teamed up on (thanks once again guys) I am even more excited. I do believe it is the full size and if its 32 x 21 approx thats bigger than I expected! Asked the seller about extra balls but he doesn't have any extra so I'll have to look elsewhere here was his reply to give you guys some more info:

The machine will be shipped with 100+ balls. I have a pachinko machine and I have about 400 balls for it. I always need to take them out of the back to refill the front. Here is the deal with the machine you won. it is set up to dump all the balls back into the front so that you can continuely play with having to refill. It also has two volume controls (one for each side speakers) and two toggle switches so that the machine can sit idle like it would if no one was playing or you could turn it on so that the machine's digital display keeps going as if you were able to get a pachinko ball in the center flower. This way you can just sit back and watch the machine go as if you were winning without having to shoot any balls. You can open the machine up from the back.
The front of the machine also has a CHANCE button. This is for specials. sometimes there will pop up mini games were you need to push the botton to try and win. You will see.

This seller has been very helpful so far in answering all my questions he has sold 3 in the last three days and the last one is on ebay right now http://cgi.ebay.com/STAR-WARS-PACHIN...QQcmdZViewItem

This wooden frame that arby built is kinda what I am interested in doing. My game room is tight for space so this needs to go on a wall so I would love to hear some good wall mounting ideas, thanks again guys can't wait!

in theory and looking at the pics on the auction it should come with a wooden frame like the one you posted of arbys most machines come that way and from the discription that the balls fall from the front to the back to continue play it sounds like it has had a cylic mod wich means you wont have to have too many balls do a serch on cyclic on the main page as arby has written a little about if i can remember rite

Welcome and great choice. As for your 3 year old, I have one (well almost 3) and she loves my Pachinkos and Pachislos. The pachinko balls really haven't been a problem. You could look at converting it to Cyclic (recirculates the balls) as Arbycoffee wrote the book on that!

If you don't do Cyclic you need at least 1000 balls per machine.

Allright today is the day! Shipped from Cali Monday and arrived today. The one board and transformer are just hanging there so they have to be secured. It does not have "feet" so to say as it will not stand level on its own I do want to wall mount so any helpful ideas would be appeciated. I will power on later tonight after it sits in the warm for a little. Ok ready for newb time? What do I do lol!? Where do I load the balls to start a lil in top a lil in bottom? This is setup for the cyclic use I believe. I also did not see a key so if someone could recommend a good source for keys that would be great but first I have to figure out table top feet then wall mount.
