I had the exact same problem with my Star Wars until I saw the the pins guide on PachiTalk. I adjusted 6 pins very fractionally and it opened up an entire new game. I'd never scored in any of the lower 3 holes previously (well tbh I do remember once) but now it is reasonably regular and yes, for me it does alter the game.

Unless I've hit fever and got 1000s of balls running around I like to judge how well I've done by how many balls I've won over the 400 I started with. Once those 400 are gone I reload the tub from the back of the machine and whatever is left is how many I won over the course of my game. I'm getting roughly 150 per game now instead of the 50 previously.

Fine adjusting allows one to enjoy their machine to their level of play. It is a game, not your life blood in the balance of winning.

I adjust nails to fit the person and family.

Jon an I are at different ends. His mind s on the return of Yen, because he played them that way.
Me, for the mind washing of pleasure in the todays spin of problems. They alway llook g=better after a game of pachinko

Well I straightened a bunch of nails, and am getting some more regular payouts.. original set up was even shooting balls away from the start gate, so I was only shooting for the central gate.... for me it just adds that little variety which increases the feeling of involvement in the game so much more...now there is actually some skill in getting the pachi balls where I want....

Sorry about the pic below... I put a blue square around the gate I asked about, but I need to ttake a close up pic......as I said earlier has a red ball and a spring/plunger pic on it but don't know what it does ?

    Cheers

Flipper gate ? I think by your small picture. It opens the flipper for a short time, .2 of a second at different times. You can stock up to 4 Flipper opens.

Not flipper opens but sub-roulette chances which can lead to flipper opens. I just linked it in the other thread but check out this thread for more information about this pocket:

Just posted in the other thread, but in case you read this.....

I assume you mean the 2 character LED display below R2D2 ?

    Mine normally reads _ _

Once it read AO after a fever round....

Are you saying I should see number spins there and the gate will open when I get the correct combination ?

    Cheers

It only shows numbers during the 100 spin chance round, Play the machine you will learn more that way.
