Take a look at the machine below:

To me it looks like the real deal, a Las Vegas Sands slot machine with skill stop buttons on the front. So does anyone know anything about this machine. If anything it is interesting. So lets hear what you think about this rather interesting machine. If this machine is a knock off I am truly impressed.

I would have to say thats not a real Las Vegas slot machine. I don't believe Nevada Gaming regulation would alow a skill stop machine. They prefer games with random number generators were all wins are predetermined before the reels ever spin. It does look pretty sharp.

Those are not stop buttons, they're hold buttons.

The way the machine works is simple. Let's say you had one or two jackpot bars line up on the payout line. Pressing the button(s) under the reel(s) prevents that reel frrom spinning on the next play only, increasing your chance at winning a jackpot.

i have played similar machines a few times on a cruiseship. the "Stop buttons" where used in special bonus rounds to select things on the screen etc..
