Ultra Seven is an excellent, excellent pachinko machine. I hope I can get (at least) a tabletop someday.

It was a cool 6t's show and will be a firm number 2 on my wish list of Pachinko machines that I want (star wars being number 1) Great find and hope to see that some of the machines make it over here.

The machines are still going for 30000 to 40000+ Yen on Yahoo Japan so it will probably be awhile before they are exported. I didn't want to wait though so bought the video game that is out on Playstation 2 to give it a try. The game costs around $50 but you need a NSTC-Japan version of PS2. I've only played it for a couple of hours and haven't hit a bonus round yet. The videos on the manufacturers website look great but so far I haven't been that impressed with the normal play and reaches. A video game just doesn’t have the excitement of a real machine, but one thing I like is keeping track of whether you are winning or losing. The game even lets you adjust the pins and compete against various pachi-pros.

I think prices are going to start decreasing pretty soon. I've been checking on prices on Yahoo Japan for a little while now and auctions are starting at the above prices, not very many are going for that much; most are going at around 20000. I'm not very savvy at sensing these kinds of patterns, but it seems we should expect to see them here within the next half year or so. I hope...
