I am NOT trying to be a poopie head or anything, I am just asking and not being a smart arse. What would be wrong with posting something to help make a guy's illegal machine legal again? Just wandering. please don't take offense...............

Because someone could use reverse technology and convert tokens to quarters.

I agree with Tulsa's decision, if you want a piggybank, buy a piggybank and put it next to your pachi

I don't run that tight a ship here. The rules are few and very basic as:

    1. Don't call each other names, i.e., jerk,asshole,prick etc...
    2. Don't post the information to convert these machines to accept currency.
    3. Don't direct link to another site for photos.
    4. Don't post pornographic material (keep it PG, we are a family site)
    5. Don't accuse the admin of being a thief. (really not a very good idea, especially in the open forum as you'll probably last just long enough to read my reply)

I don't stop thread hijacking, as I find this to be normal conversation and try to keep this site running along those lines. In the rare instance of the Spin Luck registry thread where we want only your serial number I will maintain a no hijacking policy.

After this, I leave it up to good ol' common sense. If you venture outside of the common sense realm, I'll probably just shoot you a note alerting you to this fact. Generally that's the end of it.

I'm not about to sit around and argue with a member about whatever issue. I have too many other things to do and find this an extreme waste of time. I'll give you the boards position on it. You can disagree all you like as long as you don't persist in doing whatever it is that caused the issue. This in my mind falls into the common sense category. Don't badger us with splitting hair posts. This generally will not soften me to your cause.

I make no bones about the simple fact this is not a democratic society. The inmates do not run the asylum. We are not the government, we are a privately held site that owes nothing to anyone. You do not have a right to be here. I don't wish to sound harsh, but it is what it is. It's very much like a workplace environment which is also not democratically run. Try calling the owner of your company a thief sometime to his/her face. You'll get the idea pretty quick. If you cannot live by the rules and avoid badgering posts, I will see that you leave. I will attempt to restore the harmony in whatever manner I see fitting.

I spend my private time in a never ending search for features for this site to make the time you spend with us as pleasurable as possible. I pay very close attention to detail as you may have noticed with something as simple as our color scheme. This again, is to enhance your enjoyment of this site as much as I can physically provide.

I hope you can agree or at least understand my position on these items. If so, we can have a good time together. If you cannot agree to what I've written, it's probably best for everyone concerned that you move on. Again, however this in my mind falls into the common sense realm since no one I'm aware of is sitting in your home or office pointing a gun to your head to log in.

We will not take you back to your regularly scheduled programming.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

I think that your few and simple rules should be a "sticky" somewhere...or is it already?

Anyone who believes the above statement should try telling that to the Direct Tv people. They well empty you bank account and keep you in court faster then a speeding bullet for information on their systems.
I think this topic is covered and enough said.
I personally do not see why anyone would want to convert to quarters in the first place.

The 1st thing I wanted to do when I brought home my 1st pachislo was to convert it to quarters. Maybe it was because the only local source of tokens was charging 20+ cents per token. Now that I use credit-add, and I know where to get tokens, I don't have any interest in quarter conversions for my own use.

When I sell machines in AZ, EVERY buyer so far wants them converted to quarters. It may be a local thing since Vegas slots are legal here and fairly common. I explain to them the futility of the quarter conversion and try not to let buyer leave with less than 500 tokens.

Funny thing is that almost nobody seems interested in auto-stop. After playing the machine for a few seconds, they almost immediately appreciate the interaction with the skill-stop buttons.
