Default New user question (Star Wars Pachinko)

    Hi all,

I've read all the FAQs, found a manual (on this site!) and played my new Pachinko machine for several hours and now have a few questions I'm sure you're sick of hearing, but I cannot find the answers to.

    1) As I understand it, these games are gambling games where the idea is for the punter to win balls and the owner to win even more balls. As an estimate my machine hits 'Start' every 20-30 balls and pays out 3 balls when it does this. This is never going to attract a customer to gamble; the odds are too low - can they be altered?
    2) When the reals start spinning occasionally the machine alters the second real to match the first (it seems like it's trying to help) yet the third will still not drop in. Should I be trying to catch more balls during a spin, or waiting? Is there anything I can do to or is it purely random?
    3) Sometimes when the first two reels match the machine goes into a video mode to try and match the third, rather than just spinning the third. Again should I be doing something to help it?
    4) I've played for 3 hours and the kids for a couple and I've never had 3 reels match. Is this normal?
    5) How do I get the big gate to open? I've never seen it move.
    [edit, another question]
    6) What does the Chance button do?

    Thanks in advance

    FT.

When you do win, (match 3 numbers) the machine will pay out thousands of balls. Then there is the 97 "chance" spins after that with increased odds of winning.......

These machines go through periods of paying out a lot, to not paying out for a long time. Your best bet would be to do a reset. (hold a button in back when you turn it on). Most machines like to give out bonus or "FEVER" rounds shortly after a reset.

(Ask Mark if you don't believe me.)

    Thanks for the reply

Does the big gate not open until Fever mode then?

The big gate will not open till you are in a fever (bonus) round.

I basically had the same experience when first playing Star Wars. The Pachinko and Pachislo machines I've played seem to prefer to pay out large, and you won't make much just on the small wins (unlike the Fruit machines in the UK). The machine likes to tease you before giving three in a row. When you hit the Fever mode, any ball entering the big gate will win you something like 10 to 15 balls each time and they soon add up - you just need to remember to still get 2 balls into the gate for each Fever round, otherwise it will finish. The chance button is used during battles with Darth Vader, which come along from time to time.

Yes with a few potty breaks, and it was a sunday nite. The words my dear sweet wife called me I can not print, it would make Ozzy Osborn Blush.

12 is pretty good I've played CR Battle Hero for 14 hours, most of that time spent racking up bonuses continuously. Total haul for that day: US$2,400.00

My name is still up on the leaderboard at that parlor.

To learn these Machines, I have spent twice that in hours tearing them down to pieces to see how they do what they do. Being I can't read your fine language Jon. I have learned my edacation was sadly lacking in the area of a second Language.

So to learn what does what to what, I needed to go backwards.

    Hi,
I just curious as to how much money each ball is worth depending on location, I just got my first Star Wars pachinko and wonder how you can gamble on a ball bearing and then exchange it for money as you could manufacture millions of these in China and make a bundle?

Well each parlor has its own stamp on the balls..

that and it very difficult to sneak into a parlour with a trench coat full of pachinko balls.(if you got the stampp right)

    so highly unlikely..

that and a lot of the parlors are run by Japanese underworld..
    your call...
