Mods done in Japan...

I thought some stuff here was kind of interesting. Maybe its been covered here before, but here it is.
The site talks about using pachislo machines in the home which I was not aware was done in Japan.
Home users in Japan seem to want the same mods on their machines that some here in the USA want.
Slotec seems to have addressed these mods. Here is a sample...
1. tokenless adapter which allows play without tokems. One interesting thing here is a wired remote wand that plugs into tokenless mod which keeps track of your credits that would normally be dumped to the tray. A slick way to keep track of winnings, and also maybe a way around the 50 credit max? On the wand thing are buttons that allow you to bet 1 or 3 credits as well as a 50 credit add function.
2. There is an available auto stop chip. Of course the Japanese realize that auto stop has disadvantages during a bonus round, so they have a photo sensor that attaches near the bonus round light on the machine which disables the auto stop.
Interesting stuff. Worth a look if you are into mods and such. Gets the wheels turning!
