Oooops. I see I forgot to include a numerical rating:

    Music: 10
    Video: 6
    Playability: 9
    Looks: 8
    Volume Adjustability: 10
Reel Noise Hum (the higher the number, the lower the reel noise): 10

I added the link to my review of the same machine (under "King Of The Battle World) to yours. Did the same in reverse.

    Hope you don't mind.

Kewl, n/p. (Although I didn't understand why you said volume controls are a must for this machine. It's one of the few machines we've found that didn't need any additional volume controls; it's just about perfect the way we have it set. I wonder if there is something not connected on yours, because I'm very fussy about machines that are too loud, and I really found this one to be fine as is.)

I also wonder what was going on with BuccsBoi and the noisy reels. This machine has THE QUIETEST reels of any machine we have.

I don't understand the difference in volume on our machines, but mine is very loud without them.

By the same token, some folks have had to add volume controls to their King Camel machines, but the built-in ones on mine control it beautifully.

Delighted you didn't object to the links.

Speaking of quite machines, the quitest I've ever hear was the palot I got to play at Arby's. Man, that is a sweetheart of a machine!

We found that King Camel definitely needed volume controls, especially the bottom speaker, although the top speakers, with vol controls, are a lot less "screechy" now.

Palot? Not familiar at all with that.

Palot is a cross between pachislo and pachinko machines. It looks like a pachislo but plays with pachinko balls rather than tokens.

You can see a brief video of it here:

Well, at least this mystery is solved. My b/f IS A LUNKHEAD! Before I posted my review I asked him: "Does N.N.Y. have volume controls?" He said: "No, it doesn't". A little while ago I was playing it, opened up the door to get more tokens, and LO & BEHOLD...there were Milt's volume controls, plain as day. (We had gotten that machine from Milt, WITH volume controls pre-installed.) So I went to b/f and said: "You were wrong; NNY DOES have volume controls". He said: "Ok". I didn't like the way he said it, so I said: "Ok.... ". Then he said: " :questionm " Then I said: " (Roughly Translated: The next time I ask you something important, please don't just blow it off; take the time to think about it.") Then he said: " ". He's learning.

Thank you. Yes, it's good training. Hard. But good. And like Arby Coffee said a few posts back (to quote Mae West): A hard man is good to find.
