Default Optimum counter height for Pachislo

I was wondering what the standard counter height that Slot Machines or more particularly PAchislo machines are mounted? Is it 32.5 inches or ? or is there no standard? Does anyone here know for sure?

    Thank you in advance!

it all depends on your stools. I built mine at 30 inch since I had a couple of Target mudroom cabinets already and they are 30 inch. I then bought some 30 in stools to go with them and they work good. Standard stool heights are 24 and 30 inch.

Thank you for this, I didn't think of approaching it this way, but it makes sense. I have 24 inch stools and they are too low (but it does help "eye shooting" on HH). I'll have to look out for larger stools.

I'm still curious to know how high they are mounted in Japanese Parlours.

    Thanks again!

More on stools. A quick google search revealed this:

    http://www.bar-stools-barstools.com/...?idproduct=170

It suggests slot machine stools come in 24 or 26 inch heights (with option of 30 inch bar stool height).

I just did a squat test in front of my machine (set on a 31.5 inch stand from Office Depot) and perhaps 26 inches height would be just about right (for me, - face square on reels), 30 inches would put me above. WHo knew this could be so complicated .... ... I think I'll stand! ;-)

Certain machines that have low video screens such as Azteca Legend, Baku-Cho and outlaw you need to be a little higher in order to see the screen clearly. The 30 inch stools seem to put you at the correct height when putting the machines on a 30in table.

Just have your tables and stools the same height and all will be well

This is great information thank you. I just stacked books on my 24 inch stool to test out the various heights and yes a 30 inch stool for 30 inch tables seems just right. Thank you pachipeople for all your help on this!

Now I just spotted two bargain candidate stools online that may do in a pinch (though chrome and leather padded seats like garage stools (or rum runners) do appeal to me) - I supply the information here for others going down the same road:

IKEA: ANSSI Bar Stool with backrest 74cm height CDN$24.50 available in black or white
IKEA: FRANKLIN Folding Bar stool with backrest CDN$36.99 available in silver/ oak veneer and silver / birch veneer

These are only the two least expensive options, there were lots of other choices at ikea in the below CDN$100 at IKEA though the most impressive bar and gaming stools come from US suppliers (that I can find) at much higher prices (sometimes more than the pachi machines themselves).

On the actual height in Japanese pachinko palours, you have to remember Japanese people tend to be smaller in stature than the average American.

I'm sure most of us would be a little cramped trying to play at one of those palours.

I bought some stools at Walmart for my arcade cabinet that were pretty inexpensive. They are 30" barstools with backs and they cost around US $25.

They are adequate in quality but a lot of the stools I found were over $300 each and I was looking for something a lottle less expensive.

The below picture shows 30" stools in front of 30" high cabinets. Also, if you want to look at more stools/cabinets, head over here:
