    Default Auto-Start/Auto-Stop for "ATTRACT MODE"

Hi All, I just purchased my first Pachislo Machine ( Deka Donchan 2 ). I also plan to purchase either Sinbad or Tekken next.

With that said I would like to get my grubby hands on ALL the technical information I possibly can (schematics, pin outs, everything…)
Every little bit helps, don’t hold back. I’m gonna pimp this motha out!!

(One of the many enhancements I would like to do…)

I would like to have the option for various “Attract Modes” inside available via a push button.

One of the extra options would be to wait ‘X’ idle time with no tokens entered then invoke the reels and stop them with enhanced lights.

I am solely interested on starting and stopping the reels. The rest is already done (defining idle time and waiting 'x' time) ... (In my mind)

    Thanks so much ,
    Bjmc1575

[P.S. – I’ve read many threads already, and I know how most feel about the ‘auto-stop’ feature. So before anyone takes even 1 step towards their soapbox. ITS FOR ATTRACT MODE :aetsch: .]

good luck tech info on these machines is non-existent the Japanese want to keep it that way so you have to hack it the old fashion way by reverse engineering methods . some people have pin out for their machines purely by hacking the machine for credit add mods and reel stop mods(not all machines are alike some even by same manufacturer are different.) . By the way dont let the purists bother you its your machine to do as you see fit to the way YOU like to play .Most are the same who will add a credit mod cause they dont want to add tokens . What ever suits your playing style works well with these babies but i suggest doing your tinkering on an inexpensive model first just in case you do a lobotomy on it trying ........ would be interested to hear your findings ....

You would need to figure out what the interface cable pinout was to the reel cage and turn on the stepper motors for x seconds. Same thing with the lights. You could find problems some problems with this when someone starts a spin during this idle time attract mode.

if you cut the feed to the motors (during your mod time) and drive them by your own driver .the most you would get is an error due to the reels not spinning up to speed on time . that could be avoided by severing the feed from the spin knob so the machine can't start a spin during your attract mod for a few seconds till you reset back to play mode.

    Chris,

Idle time would stop once a token is placed in the machine, or a bet button is pressed. This would kill the operation and wait for idle time again.

    Chris,

About all I can offer is an AutoStop I’ve been tinkering with that can automatically add 3 credits and spin, then do the autostop function. I could either set the exact amount of time between spins or make it random. You need to keep enough tokens in the hopper to pay out if the credits go over 50 on a win. This is NOT a tokenless mod.

    Vince,

Could you please post the pin outs of the chip and where in the machine they connect to. I'm interested more in the knowledge than anything.

    Thanks so much ,

I finally got around to installing Autoslot's new AS-04-SPIN - auto-spin, auto-stop and credit add board in my Sindbad Adventure.... Very Cool. The machine just sits there and plays with itself It add 3 credits, spins, stops, waits a few seconds, adds 3 credits, spins..... you get the picture. I'm definetly going to have to put one of these in a machine in my garage when I'm have my ongoing pachi garage sale. It really draws attention to the machine since after a few minutes, the small wins add up to 50 credits and the small wins start paying to the tray. Could work as a sort of token dispenser too

As the Title says, for "attract mode." It can be quickly disabled with a press of a button (or two) to let it play as normal. As Auoslot says, also useful for those boring "stingy" times when a machine just needs to be played for a few thousand tokens to get back into a better mood

Is this an easy to perform mod? It sounds interesting for attract mode.

The main unit plugs in series on the 30 pin stop cable. It also uses T-Tap connectors to plug into the credit and spin wires. See: www.autoslot.info/autospin.htm
    for more details.

It is a very easy mod, if the machine you want to autospin is of the right type. I put this mod in Sindbad Adventure because several of the other machines I had in mind weren't good candidates. Sammy, Rodeo, Aristocrat, IGT and NET machine usually require different logic . Vince might be able to come up with those if the market where there, but for now it work on MOST machines. Dig around on Vince's site for a bit, there are some good table to help understand which machines are compatible with the mod.
