Default Super Black Jack - Lots of help needed

    Hey,

Im a new owner, buying my first machine 'Super Black Jack' recently.

I have a LOAD of questions tho and would appreciate any information people could give me (No need to answer em all... just what you can )

All of the questions are for Super Black Jack (the white version if that makes a difference)
    Here goes

    1. Does anyone know what feature is activated if you get BAR BAR BAR?

2.How does the skill selection (1-6) Work? When I got the machine it was on 3. After a while I changed it to 1 as I NEVER seemed to win on the features BUT nothing has changed and I still dont win. Any ideas?

    3. Does anyone know what happens if you get the 'BONUS' side of the card when a joker appears spinning it on their finger?

    4. Can you control the joker who cuts one of two cards in half to make a Black Jack hand? and what happens if you win?

    5. Is there any occassion when the 777 bonus is more likely or is it ALL skill. I read somewhere on the site about slippage.... On a number of occassions my friend swears he hit the button at the correct time but the 7 slipped past, so are there times when the machine STOPS you winning?

    6. I sometimes get a JOKER card in Black Jack where a Joker turns all the cards into something else. All I ever get is KKKK? Can you control this?

    7. Can you EVER win the Black Jack bonus? I have played for about 4hrs since I got it and have only won once?

    8. When you do win Black Jack... what the hell does 'BONUS' mean? I had this screen for 30mins before I got sick of it and reset the machine

    9. Sometimes when you stop a real the light goes out on that reel. What does this mean?

    10. I read about the other machines that there are 'clues' and/or 'signs' that somethings are going to happen on a machine. Does anyone know any of these?

    11. Does turning off the machine or reseting it /changing the skill level put all winning chances back to the start?

Thanks for any help in advance, I appreciate any help
Matt (going back to try and figure some out )

    1. Probably a regular bonus
    2. 1 is the least chance of a payout, 6 is the most chance.
    5. It's actually mostly not skill. On most machines, you have a higher chance of getting a bonus when it say WIN or BONUS. However, since the 7's are usually not on the reel in many places and the machine can only slip so many you can help it by stopping the reels on or just before the seven comes up.
    8. It means that you have a higher chance of getting a bonus. This is a good thing.
    11. Huh? The percentages don't change unless you change them.

Welcome! Many people here have that machine so by tonight you should have many answers. I don't have it, but can answer some of the basics.

This link right here will answer many of your questions: http://tinyurl.com/ckq54

My reply to some of your questions:

    2) Put it on 6 if you want the highest and most frequent payouts

    5) Look to BigBearPachislo for "eye shooting" http://tinyurl.com/dsr6p

    9) Some machines light the specific reel it wants you to stop for max bonus

    11) Nope, turning it on and off doesn't reset anything. You will find however after about 30 days of no use it will error on you becuase the volatile memory depletes I guess.

Your best option is to again go to Big Bear and review the manual & playguide for this machine: http://tinyurl.com/73e56

Duh what a clown i am (misread my generic manual) No wonder i cant win much if i keep making it harder

Anyway thanks for the help... especially the directions to the manual and big bear's shop. AWESOME!

Thanks alot but answers to the other questions would be great.

Also we actually WON at Black Jack and the machine is back displaying BONUS on the screen. What the Hell does this mean.

    Thanks All!

    Oops 1 more question (lol)
Is their a trick to changing the volume? When I press my volume buttons the machine makes an odd noise but there is no change in the volume. Do I have to put a key in first or something?

BONUS: It means you have higher chance of winning a regular or big bonus.

VOLUME: Hold the volume button which makes a noise. Then press the bottons on the front of the door on the right side. They will make the volume go up and down. Also, the lights at the top of the door will change with the volume.

Yep. Those 777 Stock Times seem like they're never going to end. (It took days before I could get the music that goes along with Stock Time out of my head!)

Just to clarify a bit on what Dalto said: BONUS is a "winning sign" in SBJ. What that means is, once that sign is displayed, you are going to hit either a regular bonus, or a big bonus; it's just a matter of time, depending upon how well you can "eye shoot" either the bars, for a regular, or 7's, for the big bonus. With practice, I found that eye shooting on SBJ can be achieved a fair percentage of the time. The stop buttons on SBJ are somewhat spongy, and that makes it a little more difficult, but not to the point that it's really a problem; more of a small annoyance. In fact, we were winning so often, we cut it back to 4 from 6, and we still win just about every time we sit down to play. What a great machine as a first one!

It is definitely our favorite, and we have a bunch of em. One warning: After playing SBJ, you might be disappointed in other machines. There are machines with bigger video displays, but we have yet to play one that offers the same degree of variety, novelty, integration of theme/video/music, and almost non-stop action that SBJ offers. For example, pay close attention to what's going on in the seemingly routine casino scene that displays on the screen while it looks like nothing is really happening. We've seen an ape scroll across the sign that usually displays the letters B L A C K J A C K, progressively. (Usually, the ape is a "winning sign" of 3 watermellons) As noted on Big Bear's site, sometimes it displays 777, Chance, and other messages/winning signs. The other day, for the first time, we saw all three of those players who sit in front of the slots RAISE THEIR ARMS in a sort of victory posture, although we didn't win anything, so we're not sure what the heck was going on. But it sure was interesting.

Looking at your sig above, pfurman, is the listing in approximate order of how you rate your machines? I see that the SBJ is first followed by DDK, etc.

Nope. It's pretty random, except for the last 5, which I added on after we got them. If I were to list them in order of preference, it would probably go like this: (Obviously, it's not an absolute order; a lot depends on my mood. But for the most part, I think the list represents a pretty accurate order of the machines I play the most, etc.)

SBJ, Popeye, I'm Angel/Tomcat/DDK (tied), Arra King, Speed Racer, King Camel, Tekken, Rocky, T-birds, Sinbad Adventure, Mephisto, Mojouh, Nobunaga No Yabo, Beast Sapp, Giga Fever, Nidaime Goemon, Aztec Legend, Terminator 2, Thunder V2, Neo Planet-T, Hanabi Hayakkei, Dracula 600, FIRE EXPRESS.
