Wow, I'd forgotten about that game...I'll have to get it back out.

A couple of the tables are a little buggy in the PS2 version, but still a great game!

If I remember correctly, The PSP version has a couple of tables not in the other versions.

I got into pinball machines a few years ago and got into Pachinkos as a last ditch attempt for that same type of feel when I knew I couldnt manage tables anymore with my health (didnt work though hehe!). Ive had a few all immaculate shopped starting, STNG, Theatre Of Magic, The Simpsons Party Pinball (New in box), Twilight Zone, Lord of the Rings Trilogy (New In Box) and my baby Medieval Madness. I traded up each time and got a TSPP for swap from STNG and TOM then did the same towards LOTR with Twilight Zone (so had a TSPP and LOTR together). I then swapped up again with TSPP for a immaculate Medieval Madness.

I really adored Medieval Madness, it was a work of art but I only got about 400 games out of it and as it was worth £4000 in that condition (as it was more or less new quality) I admitted defeat in October and sold it and thats how come I bought a Sony X television and a Playstation 3 with the proceeds. Yes I miss it everyday but I also wake up and pinch myself that I have such a stunning television now.

If I was well again I would have pinball tables again no question (same wtih Pachinkos as their both different to enjoy both) but I would say to anyone get one shopped for your first as they are complicated and VERY scarey to look at under the hood for a newbie. Their is also a nasty underground in the pinball community (their is in Europe anyway) that will rip you off blind and you really need to pick and choose.

You can get some great games though on home systems (their is even a mame type cabinet coming out with virtual pinball) and the best of the series is The Pro Pinball lot on PC (not the web but Fantastic Journey, Big Race USA and Timeshock) they are rendered machines and play just like the real thing

    Pachinkos = BATMAN - ROBOCOP - PINK PANTHER - THUNDERBIRDS 2

I've recently picked up my first; "The Machine - Bride of Pinbot" and am enjoying it big time. I'm learning my way arround the mechanics and electronics and having as much fun exploring as I do playing. It is in reasonable condition but needed a bit of general cleaning and detailing. I've installed ramp protectors and will do the rubbers next. I've replaced all the bad bulbs but one bumper light keeps burning out.

The pin is a great complement to a games room but I still walk the "Dark Side" and still play with the Pachinkos and Pachislos.

Highly recommended if you can find the room.

a while ago i bought a saturn2 from bell games for 125 euro.
Cleaned it up, did some repairs and made it ready to be moved again.
Then traded it against one and a half virtual reality arcade system.
The old 1000cs virtuality arcade system with an amiga 3000 inside.
Now at the moment i got one fully working system, one need work on the tracking system and taken the half machine apart for spare parts, the helmet was gone anyway.
Even got a fully working SU2000 unit with Zero Hour in it.

Traded my pinball machines (white water, whirlwind)
videogames and a bunch of other stuff for one not working 1000cs and the working SU2000.

So at the moment i do not have anymore pinball machines.
At one time i had 9 pinballs in the house, but i stopped playing and refurbishing them since a few years.
If i can get my hands on a nice one to keep for a very long time, then i will restore it the best way i can and make it like new.
Did that once for a friend of mine who bought a star wars the next generation.
I took it completely apart and refutbished it, if he had the box he could sell it as nos.

Prefer to refurbish a pinball machine rather then a pachinko.....
this thread makes me want to go on the hunt for a Twilight Zone from bally.
    It's been too long ago.

Be careful what you wish for! I just got my Twilight Zone last year. Found one at a reasonable price that needed work a mere 10 hour drive (each way) up in Canada.

So, i drove & bought it, brought it home, and worked and worked and worked on it.

It is without a doubt, one of the best pinball machines ever made, but its also one of the hardest to repair/shop.

If getting the clock to work right doesnt get you pulling out hair, that gumball machine certainly will!!

All in all, I'm glad I have it, even though it was a bear to fix. If you score one & get stuck fixing something, give me a shout. I'll do what I can.

fixed a clock once and did not have any hard time with it.
Depends on the problems ofcourse, but most of the times just put a new solder layer on it and it works fine again.
Drill some holes in the top and the bottom to have air streaming through the unit and most of the problems never return.
Shopped it once, will do it again if i get the chance.
But it is pinball or pachi's at the moment, the big choice in life....

I'll agree with the first statement, but not sure about the second one

I don't mind repairing and shopping Twilight Zone. There's a lot of it, but everything comes apart easily and logically, and (providing you remember how it came apart!) goes back together again without any real difficulty. It was a bit daunting the first time because it's such a big job, but after the first dozen times it's not that bad at all !

The one I don't look forward to is Demolition Man, there is so many ramps and wireforms, with ramps that have to be removed to get to the fixing screws for the plastics that are covering the mountings for the ramp that is above the original one you've just had to remove.

It also doesn't help that the main problem area (the cryoclaw) needs half of these ramps removing just to get it out to work on it. At least with the Twilight Zone clock, there's just three connectors and one screw to remove it from the machine.

Thankyou Eddie!! I have bookmarked this great site and really enjoyed the presentation of the Pinball Circus pinball.
I first heard of the Pinball Museum with its 200 playable pinballs in Las Vegas when Sacpinplayer was talking about the convention that was in Las Vegas last year. If Sacpinplayer happens to see this I am sure he would really like this video also as would all pinball fans!!

Last swing through Vegas I was able to play Pinball Circus there...very cool is an understatement! You could see the vision to take pinball in a new direction--one that would sit next to video games and compete--but it (like Varkon before it) was not to be.

PHOF is a must visit for anyone in Vegas who ever loved pinball!
