I won't even get into this sellers ads because that horse has been beaten again and again, but I have to say If you are going to use "descriptive" ads, at least update them.

That or Nudging reels are different than Dream reels?

In terms of the timeliness of their ads, I think they do have a problem keeping them current. We'd won a machine that was advertised as being laminated, vs. painted. When it arrived, it was painted. I called and asked why. They said the auction description hadn't been updated, and that they were no longer offering that machine with the laminated option. But since it was their mistake, they ordered a call tag, picked up the machine, and re-shipped one that was laminated - all at no cost to us - since it was their mistake.

I wish they'd cool it with all the hype, and get the timing of their ads up to date, but we've been very satisfied with how they've taken full responsibility for their mistakes. Unfortunately, we can't say the same about other vendors.

They're good guys to deal with there is no doubt. The fact they'd reship you a machine to give you the lamination instead of trying to buy you off with some additional tokens is a testament to their desire to make a customer happy.

They're hype, as much as none of us really care for it, is effective in keeping their auctions ending at higher prices. I used to run a monthly spreadsheet where I tracked all the major vendors and average selling prices on eBay. PP was always tops. They didn't sell as many, but always got more for their machines. It was either the ad or the lamination, I really can say which but it was very effective.

I've not watched eBay auctions in a long time now, so I can't say if this trend is still holding up though. It is nice to hear their customer service is still top notch.

People can criticize the ads all they want, but unless you're over here on Pachitalk with the experienced members, the ads certainly help the sale.

I say, more power to 'em. Let them run the ads any way they like to get their best price as long as they aren't lying.
