Reset Switches re-visited

I set my reset switches according to the instructions here:

but on my Hanabi Hyakkei, it appears to do the exact opposite of what is set? (i.e. having SW2 to the left and SW1 to the right pays out the credits after a bonus, but doesn't require a reset.) Any ideas?

I have mine set as yours are pictured and it doesn't require a reset after bonus and doesn't pay out credits after bonus.

my guess is that there is a plug that could possibly be reversed. see if you can trace any plugs that may be wired around these switches and see if it is reversed.
