    Default Phase III Sphere Lifter

I decided to work on my "Phase III Sphere Lifter" which is on the same vane as "Phase II Sphere Lifter". Other than using a steel frame. The funnel will hold back the extra Spheres that are in use. I think a wider funnel would hold more Sphere overage. I used Velcro to hold the tube upright against the back cover, and the spring tube holder on the frame to hold the spring tube. It works pretty flawless as set up. I am using about 1,500 Spheres to run this, in a bonus rounds it works well, I haven't had bonus rounds back to back yet to see how it handles that with only 1,500 Spheres.

I put it on my "Red Prototype" Spider Man 2 NEO. Four speaker full stereo sound.

This machine came from Japan wrap in a double layer of bubble wrap put in a cardboard box the size of the machine with some foam peanuts filling the open spaces. tape crisscrossed over the glass. What you see is how the machine arrived. All I did was dust and pull off the tape. I mounted it and added the transformer with wiring.

Now it was wrapped and taken to the Japanese post office, than airport, loaded on plane, flew the O'Hare Airport, off loaded, moved to Customs and checked, load back to air services, than on a plane, flew to Cedar Rapids Iowa, off loaded to post office trucks, hauled to post office, checked in and processed, loaded on carrier truck, delivered to me.

    NO DAMAGE.

Put the same machine in a larger box (200 lbs. rated double wall) with 2" of foam all around it. Glue all the flaps closed, fully tape all edges closed, mark with stickers "high value, over weight, this end up, and electronics". Wrap the machine in skid wrap twice with three layers of card board in front of glass. Than wrap that in four layers of bubble wrap and put in box. peanuts in all the open spaces.

Now give it to UPS, FedEx and the damn fools use it as a battering ram.

This is one kick azz machine, the red does it just right.

Phase III Sphere Lifter set up.

That enough fun for me for awhile, back to the grind.

That is one handsome machine - I prefer this red version over the yellow one you posted on the museum. How many videos did you post? Arby, you must eat, drink, sleep and s**t Pachinko! I for one am very grateful.

    Arby,
Looks like an awsome machine ! Is the sphere "feed" assembly something that you put together:questionm Or is this the way they are?
Please pardon my ignoriance as I have yet to obtain my first Pachinko.
I have a feeling , it wont be long.

    No I bought it from:

    Slots Direct.com (Pachinko/Pashislo)
    Mitchell Enterprises
    Contact us 888-598-3784
    http://www.slotsdirect.com
    E-mail us sales@slotsdirect.com

Cost was atr that time $149.+ and $20 shipping

The same mechanism is in my two machine system for japan. it handles them in bonus together well. but that system holds 3,000 spheres

Very nice Arby. Was the funnel part of the lifter or something you added?

I added it. It is a oil funnel from the 99˘ table at Ace hardware. It hold the spheres back so they don't over load the lifter and flow off the end. It alows me to turn it 360 degrees to match the machine and fill the lift too.

    Cool Blue too

It really is "eye candy!" What a brilliant and bright mix of colors and lighting. One of the most appealing looking machines I've ever seen. Wowser!

What is funny is it is a prototype, but they when with the Green & White and the Yellow & Black frames. so me thinks it to be a one of a kind to ? or close to it.
Oh I got the Sphere Battle counter with it, but haven't had the time to hook it up.

    Arby,

Please forgive my ignorance on this. Is this better than just installing the ball lifter in the back?

It is a Sphere/ball lifter, just mounted different for over load.

Spheres or ball, I go through this thing and like to call them spheres. It sounds so elegant.

This way allows more space to hold extra balls in the funnel, you can't hold many ball just in the lifter

So having more balls gives the sphere lifter an oppurtunity to "catch up" during heavy play?

Yes, and think you have played 1,500 balls and not gone into a bonus and won very few, where are those 1,500 balls going to seat waiting for you to bonus to win them. The ball lifter is good, but needs more space to store spent ball. The way it is designed it is suppose to, after a fill point the extra balls runs off in a over flow bin. These were in use long before the 2,000 + pay offs. There is no way, as it is it will hold many balls.

Arby, to me that is the perfect setup for home use! Don't take me wrong, I love the parlor ready and the CR, but this looks like the best of all worlds!
Check my member page here or...

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum
