Default Question about Token (Medal) Trays

I was wondering what they use in Japan to carry around the pachislo tokens (medals)? Is it the same type of tray as for pachinko balls?

    Thanks,

Funny enough, I JUST received 6 pachinko trays that I bought from Mike (VGC). They're much bigger than I had imagined.

P.S. I was just wondering if there were other sources and specifically the difference (if any) between Pachislo and PAchinko trays. THanks!

Hello, I recently got some HUGE ones in, they say 4000 on the Bottom and can be seen here under the NES Games :

I always thought the rounder trays were the Pachinko Ball Trays but dont know for sure. Most of my trays are 2500 size.

Other than size, there isn't really an difference, they are just hard plastic trays with small side handles.

Some of the old pachinko trays though used to have latched collapsable bottoms which could be used by placing the tray on top of ball counters (machine for counting balls), press the latch, and the balls come out into the counter, no muss no fuss.

These are what I send out with the machines I adopt out. The bottom will lift a trap door up and emptys them into a machine to count them. But if you don't have the fixture to use it it acts like any other tray.

lol...yeah I just remembered something that happened to me. I was playing in a parlor that had those trays but I noticed the attendant manually emptying the boxes into the counter so I asked why he didn't just use the trap door and he said the machines that have that mechanism haven't been sold in around 10 years.
