Default Found this on Ebay, was wondering if...

it would be worth it, since it possible it could be a number of
things why the sound is not working, could be an amp or ?

anyone in the know about this stuff have an idea on what it
might be and if its fixable ?

My money would be on a loose connection somewhere, but if it was easy to find, the seller would probably have fixed it already.

I get annoyed by sellers that won't disclose their location and that won't consider local pick-up. I like my Pachi's in one piece, so I hate to give them to UPS or Fed-Ex if I don't have to.

Cool Re: Found this on Ebay, was wondering if...

The funny thing is that he has another Spiderman with I assume working sound for $249.00. I have a funny feeling that this is'nt the easy fix it seems that it is.

    Cheers,

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing if it was simple like a loose connection
it would have been fixed and sold for way more (that have another one
up for 200+), just didnt know ehats entailed on the pachinkos that
deals with the sound beside the amp, is the sound board built into
the main board or seperate ?

...although I guess if you dont want sound, but what fun is that!!

and yeah I dont blame on non not wanting to ship things,
I seem lots of stuff messed up from shipping via the SHIPPING
    GIANTS (they can be animals)

    thnx for the insight

I agree with everything said above. If it was an easy fix it takes about 10 minutes to reseat all the plugs and check things out. If you were to strip it down it would take about an hour or two, my guess would be one of the chips has a problem, without the schematics it could take weeks or months to figure out if ever.

I too like to pick my machines up, I feel that if the seller will not allow local pickups they are trying to hide something and I would just as soon find another vendor. With local pickup I can make sure that I get the machine in as good as shape as possible and I can save a little money for more pachinkos.

A lot of sellers don't like to do local pickup because their margin is in shipping.

I'll even gladly pay a reasonable pick-up fee to restore their margins in order to avoid shipping. I used to buy from jacagan who was local to me. He charged me a 10 or 15 dollar pick-up fee, which I considered fair since we had to schedule a time to meet and he had to make a special trip to the warehouse to meet me.

He didn't charge me a pick-up fee when I bought his last 70 machines though and he threw in a CR Sharpshooter Pachinko for free (just to help keep this on topic )
