For anyone interested in pinball machines, there will be a huge pinball show in Las Vegas, next July 28, 29, and 30. Ten thousand square feet of games and dealer booths in the Main Ballroom of the Union Plaza Hotel. All pinball machines will be set on free play. Begins July 28, at 9:00a.m. and goes non-stop to 4:00p.m. on July 30.

azlew and I plan to attend, anyone else? Maybe a little Pachilander get together?

    Here's the link for information:

Yep it's a go for sure!

While we are on the subject does anyone know of any high quality pinballs that are being made in a smaller size like a card table top size. I kinda remember one being made by a hobbyist awhile back and I am wondering if that project ever got going? This would not be any of those that are made of plastic but rather it should have a solid wood frame etc.

Mike thanks for letting me know about this convention as I will be there and probably my son and a few other friends of ours are planning this one. The room rates are not bad that are quoted on the info form but as Mike found out they aren't taking the reservations until next year.

Great idea for someone to promote pachinkos? I wonder if they would allow a dealer booth with pachinkos and pachislos...hmmmm....

Are you guys planning to drive or go by car? I guess I should ask Mike, in particular.

Lucky you, every time I go to vegas it's cowboy this, Roadeo that. Though the gun show was cool. Now if they could only hold the Pinball show in Dec or feb I'd be really happy. Enjoy the show and let us know if you spot anything interesting!!

    Cheers,

    I'm there
We'll need to bring this back to the forefront as a reminder to everyone, once we get into the new year.
This would be a great venue for an established vendor, if allowed.. After all.. it is Vegas you know.
    Carpool from California anyone :questionm

You know what? I think this would be a great place to hold that much talked about pachitalk.com 1st convention!! There's now what almost 1800 members here? You would think that maybe 100 would show up and we could raise some heck there couldn't we

If they would allow pachislo and pachinko vendors that would be great also . I have never been to a pinball convention so I am not sure what dealers are allowed?

    There's the answer then!

Man just 175.00 to set up a booth with a captive audience of game room fanatics. What an opportunity for a Pachislo/Pachinko dealer!

Lew, I don't recall seeing anything like this. I'll do a bit of research and see what I can find. Seems like Franklin Mint did a Coke themed working pinball a while back. Maybe 24" to 30" long and 10" high. Very expensive and smaller than the one you are thinking of.

Thomas, looking forward to meeting you there. Yes, we should revive this thread after we get into the new year.

The trip to Las Vegas will be in the middle of an extended trip for my wife and me. We'll be visiting relatives on the way there and on the way back.

Thanks Mike. I'll search around the net and see if I can find the pages on the guy that was doing it awhile ago. It's seems I actually ran across it accidently on the Visual Pinball sites.

I've had my eye on this coctail table pinball several times but it's never come up on Ebay close enough for me to get it.

And this is from my own collection. Coke pinball machine from Franklin Mint. Little more than a toy though well made. Scoring is mechanical and no coin input.

fhagar, yes that's the one I was thinking of. What are the dimensions?

Lew, did you mean a small pinball machine that sits on a table top, or a cocktail table pinball machine like fhagar showed in post #16?

Yeah! That's what I meant when I said a "little Pachilander get together".

We just need to convince Arby to get a booth and fill it with some of his pachinko machines.

Yeah Arby, you should! I can help you with sales! There aren't many people outside Japan who know pachinko as well as the both of us put together.
