After viewing this thread I purchased the Blue Neon one.

Here is a quick review of it.....

    Ups...
    1. Despite the temp range stated in the auction...It gets the drinks ice cold. (at least mine does).
    2. It is as sharp looking in person, as in the photo.

    Downs......
    1. It isn't a high tech machine. The token sensor is easily fooled. (But these are for fun not money)
    2. It is small. Only holds 8 drinks plus two in a cold none vending storage slot.

I think it is well worth the $93 I paid. The vendor shipped it out the same day I paid. And I received it within three days. It was packaged in two boxes and arrived unharmed. (And for some reason, it is the only package I have ever received on a Saturday.)

So, John, did you get the blue neon machine on eBay or where? I'm tempted by it if it really does keep the beer cold.

Yes, from the seller above. (htaccessories) And it made my drink colder the normal refrigerator does. Here is the link to the auction I won.

It claims to hold 8 cans in the "motion" compartment, and I guess that means they can be dispensed without reloading, and two addl. cans in a storage area. Is that right???

Also, the display area in the front that shows Coke cans can hold how many cans -- looks to able to hold three, maybe?

My wife wants to buy me a Christmas gift late, and is twisting my arm on this.

She can't buy me this easily. I'll hold out for as long as I can. We men have to have our principals for being bought off, after all!

Yes, 8 in the motion compartment and 2 in the storage area. These 10 are kept cold. The ones in front are just for looks and are not keep cold.

She bribed me with s** if I'd only agree to accept this present from her. OK, I let her buy it for me.

Received mine today and as mentioned by John, it is a Saturday. Fedex delivered fast!

Pretty neat device for a game room. Regular tokens will NOT work on mine. The aluminum tokens that came with it are ever so slightly smaller, so unless I modify the coin insert slot, they won't go in. Quarters DO work just fine.

I'm testing the temperature drop and the surrounding outside temperature is 70 degrees and the inside temperature is currently at 42 degrees and falling.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at those vending machines. I wondered if the would cool down the cans inside for a nice cold drink close by while I'm pumping out some pachislo time. The Mini Can Vending Machine Looking like a must have for my gameroom.

Very nice, now if you can only find canned Long Island Tea!

The fridge has now cooled down to 37 degrees after about 5 hours running. That's a pretty darn good cold beer or even a canned Tequila Sunrise.

That's almost as cold as our summers! Here we need heaters to keep our beer warm, unless you want to lick it like a popsicle.

I've tracked the temperature now for 36 hours and it seems that the normal stabilized temperature is 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

My machine came in with one of the lower LEDs non-working. I wrote to the company and they sent me out a new LED strip to install. I don't know what most people would have done, as it wasn't the easiest part to install, and they sent no instructions. Anyhow, it required removing the door from the hinges, finding hidden screws behind the door insulation strip, removing 13 screws holding the inner door to the cover and electronics and finally, installing the tiny strip inside. (Reminded me of some of the surgery we have to do on our pachi machines. ) I'm not disappointed as would have been more of a hassle to send the machine back to them.

Here is the machine showing the bad LED strip missing a light:
    PICT2145 (Small).JPG

    Anyhow, it's all fixed now.
