Translation Journal Up

I'm going to use the new Journal area to posting up my translation work instead of the boards so keep your eyes open if you're looking for something in particular. Please keep requests either via PM or on the boards here though because I'd rather keep the journal as focused on the translations as possible. Feel free to make any comments and questions regarding the translations over in the journal though.



BTW, if anyone knows of a good photohosting site than let me know, thanks.

I've received a few comments that it's difficult to read the text in the images. Unfortunately, this is because there is a limit to the size of image that can be posted here - I don't want to be sucking up all the bandwidth. Since I'm using Photobucket on a separate account from my usual, I'm considering opening that account for anyone to view and/or take the fully enlarged versions.

If anyone has any suggestions for better software to use (I'm using MS-Paint now), font size or type, where to host, or anything to make it easier for you guys to view these things, please let me know.

The pictures size limitation is for peoples screens not bandwidth. Since this is in the journal and not the open forum, if you don't mind people scrolling to see the pics, post them larger.

OK, I restored the Rikidouzan and Tekken image translations to their original sizes. It probably won't completely fix the viewing problems but it's a start. Contact me if there's any text that is still unreadable and you really need. Also added a couple of pages from the Star Wars webpages which are a work in progress, more will be added later and hopefully all should be finished by New Years since it seems I won't be getting a job until then.

If it's unreadable (it still is for me as my screen resolution is set very high) right click the picture, go to Properties and copy and paste the picture's link into another browser window's Address area and open it that way. Then you will get a large size and clear image.

I'd forgotten about that. I'll add those instructions to the introduction page, thanks slaughter...I mean slotter.

Again, you are also welcome to right click save the picture and open it for yourselves with whatever image-viewing software you have.

The original Tekken image was just too small. It wasn't an image viewer problem.

Also, sorry that text is sometimes hard to view, this is the first time I've worked on translating text-over-images so I have to experiment with different type fonts, sizes, and features until I can find a combination that looks right without overlapping the original images.

Any suggestions, as always, would be appreciated.

Actually, the pictures there now look great to me. The only one I had a problem with was the original Tekken.

I was originally going to do that but I'm going to start picking up work from other sources that will also require text-over-image translation so this will be good practice for me to work and experiment with.
