What is going on with the plastic doll pulling down a ledge or something in this pachinko (a video that is a preview to a show on Victory TV in Japan).

That little guy in the intro (Uncle Victorybags?) is mildly disturbing, especially his voice and psycho eyes. But he's a blatant ripoff of the Monopoly guy, IMO.

My contact lenses might be a little foggy, but it looks to me like the plastic doll has her hand on a slot machine lever next to the pachinko reels.

I'd love to know the name of the machine.

The machine is CR Shunkashuutou, it's a remake of an old classic early 90s machine. It's on the top page of Nishijin's new products right here and appears to be another Japanese-themed machine based on the seasons (the kanji for the name of the machine is literally "Spring Summer Autumn Winter" (Japanese people put a lot of cultural meaning into the seasons).

The "ledge" that the character is pulling on is called an "omikoshi", translated usually as portable shrine. These are carried by people during Japanese festivals.




As for the "host" of the show, I don't think he's meant to directly rip-off any copyrights, I think he's supposed to look like a stereotyped professor because of the moustache and graduation cap he's got on.
