    Default SBJ Reel Alignment

I just got my Super Blackjack and it's in great condition. Except that the reels are a bit mis-aligned. Not by much, but it's enuough to confuse me when I look at the results of a spin. One reel needs to shift up by about .5 inches, another needs to shift down about .25 inches. I tried just manually pushing them into alignment, but each new spin puts them back to where they started.
Is this something that can be fixed?

Are the reels off every spin? I know my machines (including SBJ) sometimes stop a reel just a little off, but then it's back in alignment on the next spin.

SBJ is the worst for this of my 3 pachislots. And the size of the reels and layout, I'm not a fan of. It is like the machine has these great big reel symbols and very little win lines compared.

(Ask Mark if you don't believe me.)

Yep, the reels land in exactly the same spot each time and are the same amount out of alignment with each spin.

yes if the reels are in the same position you can correct the alignment but its a tedious procedure . you have to take out the offending reels one at a time remove the reel From the stepper motor and move the optical sensor that tracks the space on the collar of the reel. push the sensor up if you need the reel to stop a bit sooner down if you need it to stop a bit later . Be prepared to spend sometime to get it right , a little movement goes a looooooonnnnnggggg way . I also found that if you apply a felt disk (the type they sell in dollar stores to apply to the bottom of things to prevent them from scratching furniture)so it applys a bit of pressure to the reel (rubbing the reel ) it will stop the reel a bit earlier preventing it from sliping and also quiets noisey reels a bit .goodluck
