UPS delivering 7 pachislos tomorrow...question

First of all I'd like to say hello as I'm new to posting to the boards! So, HELLO! Reading all of the member posts and watching Tony's videos have haleped me make some really informed decisions about machines to buy. Thanks guys! Now on to my question/concern:

I ordered 7 pachislos from Big Bear:

Spin Luck
Alien
Red, White and Blue
TwentySeven
Beast Sapp
King Camel
HoundDog

UPS is delivering them tomorrow and I wanted to know if anyone is familiar with procedure as far as accepting delivery. For example, if I don't open every box and expect the contents and something happens to be damaged once the driver leaves, am I insured? It would take me quite a while to open each box...open the box INSIDE the box...and lift out each 90 pound machine and plug it in to see if it works. My girlfriend will probably find me STUFFED in one of those boxes inside a box like one of those Russian dolls, one inside another, by the UPS driver. I've read some horror stories on here and want to protect myself while not enraging the driver. I ordered machines from someone other than Big Bear once before and although they were packed the same as Big Bear's, the reels in two of themachines were slammed all the way to the right and I had a heck of a time bending them back into place. They still aren't 100% straight but they work fine. Any suggestions?

What I would do is inspect each box, and point out any damage to the driver. Then when you open the box(es) and take out each machine, mark the box with a Sharpie as to which machine was in that box.

You don't have to inspect each machine in front of the driver, but you will have a record of what damage there may be. Also take pictures of the box damage and any damage to the machine. If there is any, you'll also have visualo proof and can hit the shipper with that.

Over the summer where I worked we received deliveries from UPS daily and occasionally we'd get a damaged box. The driver would tell us that we couldnt open the box til the package was signed for and if any damage was seen with it to call UPS directly. So I think as long as you make note of it you should be okay but if any problems do arise take care of them immediately.

Yep I think the dealers all owe Tony and the rest of the video posters a BIG THANKYOU for helping make this holiday season a successfull one. There is nothing better than watching Tony pointing out features about Pachislos on his videos. We have had videos of ust bonus play before but to make an informed decision the expanded play videos really do the job!

Im also reminded of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, they had a hotel and casino in the game called Caligulas! Welcome to the board, as for being insured, you will be fine. If there are any damage issues, just call the place you bought them from and they should take care of the UPS claim!

I Have Had A Pallet Of 12 Slot Machines And 12 Slot Machines Individually Delivered. I Have Purchased Slot Machines From E-bay Also. I Have Found That The Pallet Of Machines Were Not Damaged At All. The Other Machines That Were Delivered Individually Received Some Damage. Although The Boxes Didn,t Look Damaged, The Slot Machines Were. The Reels Were Jammed On Alot Of Them. Some Of Them Had Light Bulbs That Were Bad. The Main Thing That I Would Do Is To Not Let The Deliverer Drop The Machines From The Truck. I Know Now That This Is What Damaged Most Of My Machines.

I've found the best of both worlds to be boxed, AND on pallet.
The boxes remain new for re-shipment. You just can't get as many on the pallet, but it does save on shipping quite a bit, let alone save on damage.

Truckers are MUCH more gentle to our toys than are UPS drivers.

LOL and I thought the poor FedEx lady was going to be mad at me for getting 4 machines in the past week!!!! (for the record I am a gentleman and meet her out at the truck and help her unload em! ) my brother who lives right across the street has 2 coming this week too (via fedex) poor gal would probably kick the boxes to the door (if they didn't weight 90 lbs!).
