That picture was taken at my old pachinko stomping grounds, Maruhan Pachinko Tower, in Shibuya, Tokyo. Those are reservation-only "pair seats"; my ex-ex-ex-girlfriend and I sat in them before and played. That particular parlor also has "birthday" seats - they let you play an extra easy-to-win machine for about a half an hour. I won USD100.00 in my birthday.
