Large Yamato - Star Blazers light bulbs

I picked up a Star Blazers (Gunship, Large Yamato, whatever the name is) and one of the two white lights on the top of the machine are out.

From inside the door you can simply turn a plastic knob and remove the bulb. The whole setup is just like changing a bulb in a car only the bulb is smaller.

So can anyone tell me what this bulb is and where I might be able to get one?

Yeah, Godzilla was a little more than a month ago. I love it and now that I have another pachinko, I appreciate its design even more!

I guess I have Star Blazers 1. It shows in the museum as Large Yamato. Only my cell has a red back ground vs the blue show in the museum.

The machine needs a little work, I should have looked it over better when I picked it up.

At least in Star Blazers a clear voice says "REACH!", on the Godzilla a female voice says "Reachie" and to me it sounds like "Peachy". heh .....

Yeah, that's Star Blazers 1. Really good machine though 2 is much improved. As far as the "reachie" thing goes, all Japanese syllables (except "n") end in vowels so even though we say, for example "computer", Japanese say "computaa" to compensate for the sound.

The bulb says 28V 3W on it. Anyone know where to get these bulbs?

It sure looks like number 4,6 or 8 in pachislo.com's catalog(I would guess #4) but to be sure he should of course either check with them about it or send them the bulb to match. I still think he could find it locally cheaper tho?

Or, you could check with Gaku at Big Bear Pachislo Shop and see if he has them, I know he gives extra bulbs with his machines and he maybe able to help
