Default Mounting or stands or ...

Are the backs of pachislo machines just simple wooden boxes? (ie not a metal or plastic enclosure)

I'm trying to figure out how I will mount/position/display these things in a game room in an attractive way. If the backs and sides aren't very nice, maybe I should consider an enclosure or cabinet of some kind.

How about pachinko machines? Seems like they are meant to be mounted into a wall or something.

pachislo machines are simply just a wooden box as for pachinko machines the backs are open but the side frames are wood. pachislo machines look good on just a stand but i'd recommend a case for pachinkos

I use stands for both. I have no children so I'm not at all worried about the exposure of the electroics of the open pachinko. This for me keeps them mobile. Now, looking at what Slotter has come up with for idea on mountings is fantastic but it's simply not for me.

you also have to consider how many you plan on getting i.e. if your only getting 1-3 a nice 100dollar stand for each would be a nice display but i have 12 machines and 100dollars stands for each would cost 1200 so i use nice 20 dollar stands from wal mart $240 total.

Are these $20 stands still available from Walmart? I can't seem to find them...

Nothing says I can't start cheap and then work my way up to classy .

My stand in a $20 walmart stand. I made the pachinko cabinet to be open backed. When it is against the wall, the boards are large enough that I don't have to worry about anyone reaching back there. The machine is well protected.
