Newbie...Hot Rod Queen

I bought my wife Neo PlanetT last week, love it. I really would like to get the Hot Rod Queen machine as it goes with the theme of our game room. You guys have any input on this machine that might help me make up my mind on a purchase??

The HotRod Queen has aways garnered a top price. I can't say about the play as I've never owned one but the theme and the graphics drive the price up past a point I'm willing to give it a try.

I have the Hot Rod Queen and it is a very nice machine but it is best for its theme, I have one because of the theme, the play is simple, no back lite reels but it is a very good looking machine for the game room. If play and fun is what you want go with Dragon Dice.

I agree with George about Hot Rod Queen. Game play is pretty straight forward, but that's not always bad. We had a lot of family over on Thanksgiving and everyone enjoyed playing it. It was my first pachislo and I bought it because of the theme and its, IMO, knockout good looks. It would look great in any gameroom.

As Tulsa mentioned, you will pay a premium for it because of its popular theme.

While there are lights behind the top display showing the jackpot payouts, those lights never come on. I checked with Milt at Stealth, who told me he has sold many Hot Rod Queen machines and has never seen one with lights working in that area. If anyone does have one with lights working in that area, I'd like to hear from them. The sounds are pretty good but being an older machine it does not have an LCD with animation.

Comparing it to our Sinbad Adventure, the Hot Rod Queen is not as much fun to play, but much nicer to look at.
