    Default First machines and furniture

I've never even played a pachislo machine, but I'm about to order 3 of them because they seem like the ideal thing to put into a new home game room. I've been browsing info about models and right now my short list looks like this:
    1 - Super Blackjack
    2 - Sinbad Adventure
    3 - Fire Drift
    4 - Animal King
    5 - Neo Magic Pulsar
    6 - Azteca Returns
    7 - Fire Express
    8 - QLogos
Any suggestions on these or additions that I should make?

I've noticed that I tend to focus on the machines that appear to have elaborate video displays since I'm primarily a video gamer. My only concern is that this may lead me away from simpler games -- which might be the ideal thing for my game room guests who probably will also have never seen pachislo before. Am I worrying about nothing?

Lastly, Is there any "furniture" that would be ideal for holding these things? I'm trying to make an attractive game room, so I don't want to just sit them on card tables...

    Thanks for any advice.

Neo Magic Pulsar and Sindbad Adventure are two of my favorites.

I wouldn't think the LCD displays would take away from the simplicity. Many are fairly strightforward. Also, at the end of the day I suppose you could ignore the LCD if you chose to.

Super Blackjack and Sinbad Adventure as the top two. Then ask yourself, do you like a magic theme of the Magic Pulsar or the Indiana Jones theme of the Azteca Legend Returns.

KC doesn't have an LCD. Great machine though.

I would seriously consider Sinbad and Super Blackjack. Definitely don't recommend Qlogos though, boring game system.

    Welcome to the boards BTW.

I'm not sure what kind of money you want to spend on a stand for your pachislos, but you might want to check with Mike and Debi Studebaker at Specialty Stands. I got one from them, and the service was both freindly and excellent, and the stand is a fine piece of furniture that looks great in my gameroom.
    Their website is : http://www.specialtystands.com/ .

I needed black furniture to go along with the black furniture already in my game room. I found this which is going to work perfect for my new pachislo machines.

    Just another idea is all.

jdsabin1, that looks very nice. Reminds me of the black mudroom tables a lot of us purchased at Target (but double-sized) before they were discontinued. Cool.

What are some of the bad points of this one?

Neo Magic Pulsar, Sinbad Adventure, and Super Blackjack.
Those are the three I have currently. You can't go wrong with them.
All 3 are different from one another enough to provide individual gaming experiences. Neo Magic Pulsar being my favorite. I love the EL-Vision.

Hey there, Jeff. I am a newbie also and suddenly have three machines too. I purchased two coffee tables from Target and they hold three machines beautifully, with drawers below to hold extra tokens, trays, etc. I'll try and post a pic later. Here is a link for the table:

Actually, the premise of this one is pretty good: a sort of fantasy roleplaying/board game but it feels really slow and just not as exciting as other Yamasa machines. I remember the sounds not being up to par with Yamasa's either.

My wife and I added a pair of 6 foot bookcases to the pair of 7 foot oak bookcases we had, and then put a 6 drawer oak dresser in between.
[It very nicely gives a stair-step effect
The 2 pachislo machines sit atop the oak dresser.
