How many Bunny Girls are out there anyhow?

There is the the 2004 Bunny Girl:

Now they all seem to have the same gameplay, but the gameboards are different. Heck, there might be more floating around out there?

One and three are just different cels, no? Number two is just an older installment in the series.

Mine starts up after a reset with a cool video that shows 1988 Pachislos that were the kick-off to the current Bunny Girl Pachinkos. It shows the original old model pachislos with the three stop reel buttons being pushed, tokens being inserted, the joy stick, etc.

I wonder if you get that movie on your machine, LD?

Does the 2002 model use manual reels or have a LCD? It wouldn't make sense for them to release a different-cel model two years apart so I wonder...

mine shows the startup video also.

They are all lcd models with 3 reels on the screen.

It's an LCD. it's identical to the 2004 model in the scenes, movies and way it plays. Looking at the movies they are absolutely identical. And, the other unidentified model posted here, plays exactly the same, too. I agree, why come out with new game faces or cels? But, then again, the 2004 game face would be more tempting with the girls on it and that is obviously what Heiwa thought, as well.

Rupan, great find. I looked around today trying to decipher this mystery and you found it pretty darn fast.

Quickie review:

Bunny Girl has turned into one of my very favorite Pachinkos. It is reminiscent of the Hefner Playboy days in the 50s and 60s. The Machine has great sound, color, lights and teases. It has a Touch Pad to speed up the action when you have banked all your starts and don’t want to lose any. At times a beautiful girl comes on the screen and wants you to tap the Touch Pad. When you do, she says “Yum!” and play continues and you will likely go to a bonus. Cool!

The play includes pool playing (WOW!), card playing, and drink mixing at the bar, slot machines and more. (!!!) The girls are cute and enticing. When in Big Bonus mode a swipe of the Touch Pad will put the ladies into bikinis instead of bunny costumes. But, don’t worry; the kids can play it, too as it never goes past the bikini level. It is G rated.

The machine itself has 2 stereo upper speakers and a bottom large speaker. The large ball tray is great with two button methods of draining it to a bucket. The playfield is gorgeous and bright.

I track all my Pachinkos and I’ve been tracking this machine now for many months and have “purchased” or started with about 90,000 balls and won back approximately 82,000 (after payouts during play, etc.) so she pays out well and makes for a challenge. I keep a running record of my sphere buys and payouts and love to play this one.

I've been looking to pick up a Bunny Girl as my first modern era pachinko. (I've spent the past year slowly restoring a vintage machine and it will soon be 100% - or 98% since I don't want to rebuild one little thing, anyway...) Of the three versions of Bunny Girl the one I like most visually and the one I see more often is the one with the casino marquees cel (the third one at the top and the one from the blue drink at the Heiwa page).

Now forgive my modern pachinko ignorance, but taking this into consideration...

...would I be losing anything over the other versions by going with the third one pictured above with the blue cel? Thanks!
