    Default Paul McCartney Concert

My wife and I, and thousands of other folks in their fifth and sixth decades, attended the Paul McCartney concert at Arco last night. I was a bit reluctant to go, but knowing my wife would enjoy the show, took her there as a birthday present. And, I figured it was likely my last opportunity to see at least one of the Beatles in person before they were all gone.

My wife thought the show was great, and I have to admit, old Paul can still get the job done. For 63 years old, he displayed a tremendous amount of energy. About a two and a half hour show and except for the three encores, he never left the stage or slowed down the entire show. Actually, I think he still could teach the current generation of rock performers a thing or two.

I think he still has some shows left on the current tour in Texas, southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. For you guys who remember he was in a band before Wings, the show is worth seeing.

I hate to tell you this but, Paul is really dead.......man the clues are all over the album covers and in the lyrics. The False Paul or "Faul" as John Lennon use to call him has been keeping up the act all these years. And why not, it's a good gig.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed the show.
Pachislos: Alien, Azteca Returns, Death Valley, Guts, Gamera HGV, Hokuto No Ken, Jet Set Radio, Mephisto, Oasis, Speed Racer, Surprise, Twenty Seven, Thunderbirds, Wild Wolf
Pachinkos: Blooming Field, Casino, Freddy vs Jason, Horror Mansion, Indiana Jones, Julie, Lucky Boat of Seven God, Popeye, Spiderman

Mike thanks for posting about your experience in seeing him live. We saw his performance here about 3 years ago and it was incredible. At the Eagles show we just saw in Glendale Arizona last Friday night, they mentioned that he is returning but not to bother as all the tickets sold out in the first 20 minutes! I guess the word is out about like you say he "can still get the job done!"

Hi, Lew. Glad you're back from your gambling trip. Missed having posts from you to read.

Same story here. Tickets for McCartney sold out in a few minutes. I ended up getting them on stubhub.com. Cost about twice the face value of the tickets, but turned out it was well worth it.

We saw the Eagles at Arco last month. For my money, the best concert around. Every song a memorable one.

That's OK. My only worry now is that you and I are beginning to think alike.
