The first dinner date I took the woman who would later become my wife was at a Sushi bar. Good thing they also had Tempura or she would have gone hungry. I tried a few different kinds including octopus. Good stuff. I love the way a post about a poorly done custom machine turn into a thread about sushi and kobe beef!
    and a few others.

Oh I could make up some rule about not hijacking threads and spend my nights moving or deleting posts that didn't conform. However I see this place as more of a conversation place and as we all know, conversations tend to go all over the place. So it is what it is and it works.

We stay on topic when necessary and when someone is requiring help we rarely get off topic on those posts. We have a fantastic bunch of members here and everyone for the most part knows when they can stray and when not to.

So yeah, a thread about a hack job can turn into a real food vs fish bait conversation but it was because no one wanted to talk about the hack job any longer. It can get redirected as necessary, if necessary. But the membership will do that on their own, just fine.

    I'm winning!! Oh, wrong thread...

I think Barny got his original question well-answered otherwise I wouldn't have hijacked for so long.

    Sorry though Barny.

I wasn't complaining, I enjoy it! I also can tell when people are getting hungry. I have never been on a more enjoyable board where people don't get all worked up about things like this. Makes things interesting because you never know where things may go. The pictures of the kobe beef had me drooling!
    and a few others.

Rupan, those pictures of the Kobe and Matsuzaka beef make me hungry...and I just ate!

No wonder that beef is so good. I have never seen such beautiful marbling!

It tastes as good as it looks. It's also as expensive as it looks too.

Wagyu? Isn't that what the Shadow would say about talking too much?

Some kinds are but they are really expensive but some specialty restaurants buy them. I suppose that's why they decided to produce Kobe beef in the US.

Yes there is other food items, other than beef.

There's hot dogs! Not sure anyone really knows what they're truly made of, but they are an American staple food.

I like fish, it's called tuna and goes between two pieces of bread.

I'm going to have Turkey soon.

The last but not least, southern fried chicken.

I must admit that I like potatoes of all kinds and fashions but fried, I think I could eat these as a main course.
